      I don’t think there is much rhyme or reason to any of the “bars” or messages. So many different responses given by those fielding calls at the IRS makes me believe that they are overwhelmed by the task at hand. Or a software glitch/update has thrown all the timely refunds out of whack. I wouldn’t bother with calling them, getting a tax advocate or relying on transcripts. I don’t believe any of it is in our control. Patience is a virtue.
