I have a customer who works with the IRS and she has been keeping me informed on whats good and whats bad, If you had one BAR for a long time and it just changed to nothing and states your refund is being processed that is a great sign, My Turbo tax screen says my refund is scheduled for 2/12, she said that if the Federal tax website now shows blank that means its moving forward and we have nothing to worry about, she said it’s showing activity and thats a good sign. She also said updating the Federal website has presented many issues and it should not be used or relied on. If your status bars disappeared and you don’t have a serious message or code then we are getting very close to our DD.

Beautiful
If you have an offset it should update with WMR when it pops your bars back up. My guess is they are working on your return now and processing your offset so the bars disappeared. You might have a two bar update coming and then you should see tax topic 203 for the offset and usually the refund amount on WMR is updated to reflect what your reduced refund will be after the offset. -

Beautiful
Does your account transcript show any codes? Does WMR show any codes?If not it could be a sign you are still processing and they are updating things.

@redacted
How long did it take you to get yours?
What was the reason why you got flagged?
Thank you for responding š -

Hello everyone and I hope someone can ease my mind. I filed my taxes very simple
2/2/19
Single
School creditsI had a bar and the statement that it has been approved and is being processed for about a week. Every year I update on Saturday morning but this Saturday I updated to missing bar and a date will be provided. My question is am I being flagged or this happen because I have an offset of me owing state taxes from last year.

@Nona48
That’ll do it. Never, ever file with your paystub, especially if you have a 401k or some other kind of withholding from your check because your FICA taxable income is different from your Federal taxable income.

I’m not trying to damping anyone spirits, I’m just stating what happen to me last year. I filed early last year on the 22nd and was accepted the next day. I’m a weekly that means my processing date is every Thursday r Friday. After having a bar for a week it disappeared still showing the same generic message but no bar. I waited the 21 days and the lady at the IRS kept telling me it was nothing wrong. I never got the PATH message either. So I waited till the end of February to call now the lady tells me I will receive a letter in the mail. I didn’t get one till the 2nd week in March and it just stated no action need to be taken I should received my refund within 60 days. My transcripts were completed and the processing date kept changing never got the code 846. I had to called a tax advocate and she got me my refund. I didn’t receive it till the end of March after I called the advocate for help. Till this day I don’t know why they hold my refund. I’m assuming because I file my taxes with my last paycheck stubs they were a little off from the w2. I don’t know but it was very stressful for me last year.

The situation you describe as good news is an exact depiction of my current tax year experience.
But…I have EITC, CTC and AOC, so I’m positive that I am on the PATH–despite no update to that particular message. So many PATHER’S, so little time to update ALL of them to the message on WMR, which makes me think that it’s probably not a big deal… but all the same, still a tad troubling to me that I haven’t done so yet.
Also, I filed early (1/10, accepted 1/14 TurboTax) as I generally do every year, to thwart the ID thieves (as the IRS in fact suggests) but particularly early these last two years or so, as in 2017 someone used my name and SSN to work and reported roughly $30,000 in wages earned while doing so. So far, I have not had them ever try to file a fraudulent return (that I’ve been informed of, anyway) and I haven’t ever been asked to ID verify because of it, but there’s always a first time, I guess.
Lastly, I’m a bit bothered by WMR asking me to verify if I input the correct info when I just tried to check it under my own SSN, after previously receiving the Code 9001 under mine when I first started checking the site.
Every year, I file and am the primary filer of a MFJ return. But I am disabled, and had zero income last year, so I guess the IRS decided to make my husband the primary now, because after speaking to an IRS agent on 1/25/19 about Code 9001, I checked WMR again, and it showed up just fine under his SSN.
So I’m sure it was just a primary tax payer issue. Unless it is an ID verify issue.
But nevertheless, there it sat, on WMR just as pretty as you please, with its one perfect orange bar etc, until just as described by OP, it updated to the generic processing message referenced in this post, as of last night.
So….if I just use my husband’s info, I maybe can take this as the suggested “good news”. Under my own SSN…not so much.
To worry, or not to worry, that is the question.

Do they know why transcripts are popping up blank? Iāve had my Account transcript showing for several days but itās all 0.00, says return hasnāt been filed and has an āas of dateā of 2/25/19.
I filed with HRB on 1/30. Accepted 1/31 and have been on one bar on WMR with TT 152 since 2/1. No codes or anything but Iām curious about the blank transcripts. Return one says Not Available.

Mine got accepted on Feb 1 and said it up until the 7th and now it says You may not have entered your information correctly. Please verify your personal tax data and try again and I have triple checked it. Frustrating.
