So found out my “still processing” was because i left out my insurance 1095 form ugh. First year with marketplace insurance so i didn’t realize it had to be filed. Now it explains why I’ve been stuck on STILL processing. I faxed it to IRS yesterday. Anyone have this happen before? Please don’t stress me out.. will it take foever to get my deposit? I entered it in my tax software and it didn’t change my refund amount so that won’t hbe to be fixed. Give me something helpful!! 🙏🏻

          Filed 1/25 accepted same day
          Never received “ltr”
Called IRS 3 times before they gave me fax nbr
          Faxed everything on 3/1
Called 3/6 they verified receipt and said to allow the 6 to 8 weeks
          Transcripts say N/A
Can not find anything out been still processibg on wmr since 2/15

Basically giving up. I have read all the information I could find on people with similar situation and very few had positive outcome. Think I’ll try to call once more next week then I’m moving on. I know someone who had this happen last year she spent 4 months back and forth mailing docs and faxing and she never got her money. She gave up after May.

Mailed my forms back on Monday. Originally filled 01/29 but didn’t get letter for 1095 3/2. I forgot I got Healthcare for only Jan in 2018. Now the waiting game. 6-8 weeks is ejhat I’ve read elsewhere.

I forgot my 1095-A 2 yrs back faxed the form into IRS took weeks only to find out I needed to contact a tax advocate. They will get your return processed faster then just relying on the IRS to process it.

Yup,  removed the fine with the new tax law, thank goodness. But the IRS is still tied up with 1095As. It’s still in the system, it’s still a mess… the only difference is the fine is gone and if you didn’t have adequate coverage your tax filing still needs to technically claim an exemption. So, it’s still a step in filing and can still trigger an issue like the OP here :/

You actually won’t get fined now. They removed the mandatory part of the health insurance.

I don’t want to stress you guys out, but two years ago, Turbotax messed with the layout of the 1095A form. It was the first time I used TT to file, every other year was FreetaxUSA… I was under the impression we might get a refund faster that year with TT and needed it ASAP because I was using it to pay for a college term.

Well, the mismatch between the TT form and the one that the healthcare company sent to the IRS snagged my return and I went into the still processing and had to go through all the faxing and phone call routine steps. TT premium “CPA advisors” couldn’t do anything to help explain why the TT form differed from the fields on the actual 1095A, and they wouldn’t refund the premium because it had already been arranged for them to take their fee from my refund which was still weeks away from arriving because of their error.

In the end, after filing in late January, I didn’t get my return until March 29th because the 21 days didn’t start until they received my fax, which was already a few weeks after filing because it took them that long to send the letter.

I really hope it goes faster for you guys, but plan on the full 21 day wait after getting the forms they wanted faxed in. :(

PS I hate marketplace insurance. The only company available in our state is absolutely awful, and the fact that we get fined for not having insurance is completely asinine. Glad the current president did one thing right and got rid of the penalty. I don’t like democrats because they pass stupid laws like this. I don’t hate Obama but I really hate the ACA and think the people who don’t have to deal with it but support it are genuinely uneducated on the fallout it caused a lot of people like our family.
