It appears that the IRS calculated my first stimulus payment based on my 2018 Filing, as I had not filed my 2019 taxes yet when the first stimulus checks were distributed. Below is a summary of my information. Am I able to claim the $1521 for stimulus payment #1 or am I not eligible? I checked my account via the IRS website and it shows $0 for Stimulus Payment #1.

      2018 AIG = $210k (married filed jointly, no children/dependents)
      2019 AIG = $177k (married filed jointly, one child/dependent)

Hi- Thanks for your response. Are you sure that the IRS will calculate Stimulus payment #1 off of our 2020 AGI if we claim it on our 2020 taxes?

When you file your taxes you can claim it but they will now go off your 2020 AIG because it is 2020 credit so it depends what you made this year!
