How did ur daughter use u on her taxes if she did not claim u as a dependent then yes u are eligible for the money u need to get on the non filers portal on the IRS website if it’s still up not sure when they are stopping that if not turbotax has a stimulus registration form u can fill our its basically a simple tax return u need to fill out so they have ur info to send u one

I was unable to use the get my payment tool from the day it was released until this week. I kept getting locked out. And when I finally could log in on Monday, it said my payment was DD on 4/15 to the correct account number. But I haven’t received it. From everything I’ve read it has something to do with the services I used with Turbo Tax. But I haven’t gotten anything in the mail either. This is frustrating! Anyone else have the same issue?

Okay, I’m having a hard time posting here, but I’m going to try one more time. My daughter and I both filed through a 3 party company (similar to Turbo Tax), and the payment was sent to Metabank/EPS, who then declined it and sent it back to the IRS. When I last checked, it said our new deposit date was 4/24, but to the same account (which was wrong). Surprisingly, we both received our payment in the mail today. So anybody in the same boat, check your mail, it’s on the way.

I also updated my info on 4/16 to my Varo card and am still getting the same message that it will be deposited but no date given. From what I’ve read, info that is updated by Thursday or Friday is suppose to be deposited the following week but nothing yet and its so frustrating. If you have a prepaid card and haven’t recieved your money then you’re most likely gonna get a paper check mailed to you… but you guys will get it soon cause when I checked the irs website saturday it said I was getting a paper check mailed on the 24th but to my surprise I got it yersterday 2 days earlier. From what I was told today by a metabank rep no one who uses these temporary accounts rather it is for tax purposes or for a job. Everyone with a metabank account will get a paper check mailed to the address the IRS has on file. I know it sucks but I hope this helps everyone. No thats not true. Your loan comes from your taxes. They aren’t allowed to take money from your stimulus. They have refunded that money to irs and irs will distribute paper checks.

The people who got a anticipate tax advance and is still waiting on their refund. I hate to tell you but your third party bank possibly has put it toward your loan amount owed which is illegal. Maybe that’s why some of you are getting all these error messages when trying to log into “GET MY PAYMENT” You need to call TPG or Republic Bank and ask for the loan department. Make sure you tell them your CUSTOMER ID #: its a 12 digit number on your refund status on TPG or Republic website.

Yours probsays 24th because thats when they sending out the deposfor those who had to input bank information because irs didn’t have it on file. You should be good. My aunt works for irs. Thats how. It took until late last night for her to return my call but she let me know the details of how they are handling it. She said over 50,000 ppl if not more filed through third party tax companies and unfortunately they all are suffering from the same issue. None of these companies have your money it was all refunded back to irs accounts and will be sent as paper checks. If your address is not updated plz do so with post office or have them hold your mail

Curios @Almaze. How did you talk to an IRS agent? Do you live next door to one? I had to call my congressman and then email them because they aren’t in the office in Washington. I spoke to IRS rep and she said they aren’t updating the account information but instead will be sending paper checks to the addresses on file on the new date on the get my payment portal. So if yours says April 24th to the wrong account number it will be a paper check.

If you filled jointly, only one of you need to update the information on “get my payment”. I updated mine and then logged in with his info. They only asked him for soc, DOB and address to login because everything else was updated from my login.

If your payment was sent back and not updated with the correct DD info, it will be mailed to your last address on file with IRS. I believe paper checks begin April 24th and the very last ones no later than Sept 11th.
That was info i found at the beginning of the week. It could change because of the glitches.

If you cant log in to do it from a desktop which i was unable to myself there is a fix! If you go to your settings to change the page that you are viewing to the desktop version you should have no further issues. Just remember to switch it back to original settings-mobile view when you reach the successfully submitted page. Sorry for typos if any no time to review

FYI thru NETSPEND (REBULIC BANKS) Some users have reported their payment did get sent to Republic Bank. If you filed a 2019 return and your payment is sent to Republic Bank first, Republic Bank will send you a check. If your stimulus payment was sent to Republic bank and was based on a prior-year return, Republic Bank will return the payment to the IRS. The IRS will then send you a check.

I have NetSpend. I filed through ATC (big mistake 🙄). Checked the IRS “Get My Payment” tool this morning and of course they sent it through ATC. Went by their office a few minutes ago and they told me they sent all the money back to the IRS and they will mail checks out, so who knows.. TT deposited at 5am just as the text I received Saturday said it would! TT site is flooded, to easily check balance as long as your cell number is on your TT account info you can text BAL to 83854. Hope everyone who didn’t receive gets theirs soon! Seeing my balance go from 0.19 cents to 1200.19 felt like a damn miracle!

For Netspend users, the money will come to you via paper check. … If you are on disability and nobody claims you as a dependent, you will receive stimulus money. If you receive your SSI via direct deposit, your stimulus will come this way. Otherwise, you will receive a paper check

I had my taxes DD to the turbo tax card (greendot) and fees taking out BUT no stimulus deposit so I checked the IRS website and they said didn’t have enough banking information to direct deposit but I am eligible. Then gave option to enter bank info or choose check (you will need adjusted gross income from 2018 or 2019 as well as refund or owed amount. You can check via link below…

Yes Alanis people were complaining about the app even yesterday. If you get thru on the phone the bot is still erring in receiving your input. The website proper is best bet. Just give it an extra minute or two to load and you’ll likely get in.

So i just read that if you had a negative balance in your bank and you got some type of money to bring your account back from being negative, that what happen is your bank took your check to clear all negative balances then sent what was left back to the IRS so they could cut you a check

If haven’t received deposit by wednsday you should use the non filer portal if you haven’t filed taxes and put direct deposit info in and if you have file taxes this year use the new portal coming this week and enter your direct deposit info and for people that receive ssi it will be automatically deposited in your bank that you receive your ssi check in no action needed by you

Yeah. It’s all just another DD to the IRS, so it doesn’t matter if a bank passed it through a go between account to collect a fee. They’ve had the money since Saturday. Nobody suddenly becomes a paper check person unless they already were or failed to update an account change. Some banks care about customers needing meds. GreenDot does not. Simple as that.

Reason would have it you are looking at the difference between which banks care about the customers well-being and which don’t. Redundant is if your money was floated thru another account to collect a fee. It was all just another DD from the IRS, who paid those people Saturday, who have your money and are even acknowledging that.

It’s because the turbo card is from Green Dot and they always hold funds until the day of so they can collect whatever little bit of interest they can. The Treasury sent my refund on feb. 19th but I didn’t get it until the 24th. They should be called Greed Dot for real. It seems like the ddd for the first round of stimulus is the 15th so I think alot of ppl will have their money after midnight or early tomorrow morning.

I believe you’re incorrect that the 2019 refund must be approved for them to use if to determine the economic impact payment. Some people on IGMR STILL waiting for their 2019 return to get out of 60-day review have reported getting their EIP based on their 2019 return. (The “As of” date on their 2019 return updated, but not their 2018 return.)

As for not getting your newest dependent’s portion of the EIP, when you file your 2020 next year, you should get the rest.

Green Dot: Check your email they sent to customers with the amount from corporate. Called and did verify since they normally dont do pending deposit s. If u used “Refund Transfer” option when you filed taxes you didn’t pay up front for the filing fees and had those fees removed from when your refund arrived, there will be a delay, not sure y but this is yet another issue. Yes but it will pay you from your 2018 taxes. I was shorted one dependent on my stimulus which means because my return is still processing, they used my 2018 info. You have to have had your 2019 return approved with a DDD in order for it to be the return used. Hope that helps.

Emerald card people, so according to many sources including hr block, if you got a refund transfer aka paid for your tax preparation out of your return then you do NOT get the stimulus on the emerald card. So apparently we have to submit other bank information once the online portal is available on the 17th.

If you use a bank or credit union, you can’t expect your payment this early. Wed. 4/15 is most likely, though maybe Mon. 4/13 is possible, if the IRS has sped up direct deposits.

These cards that have been hitting today are essentially providing the refund equivalent of a zero-interest (I presume) payday loan.

“You get paid Friday? Okay, even though it’s only Tuesday, we’ll make the money you’ll get Friday available to you today!” It’s the Wimpy (from Popeye) method.

We got a turbo card we didn’t have any fees but we owed back taxes and they took all of our refund. Do you think the irs will still have our direct deposit info? I know we’re not even sure if it’ll go on our turbo cards yet but since I didn’t get a refund I’m wondering if they still have our direct deposit info. On our tax papers online the turbo routing and account number is on there.

I hope your right! I used a serve card and all it has on my tax return is the last 4 numbers. It had to go through republic bank for fees then to serve card. Not sure how they are going to deposit

I got my stimulas payment five minutes ago DD on PayPal prepaid which is thru NetSpend. SSBT did take fees from my tax return but the stimulas went straight to my account for those who are concerned about that as long as the card or bank account was listed on the return you will get DD to that account.

If you got an advance loan from Jackson Hewitt then that means your actual refund went to Jackson Hewitt and more than likely you’ll have to wait on a paper check but nobody really knows a for sure answer so you might get lucky!

They will only take tax return fees from your federal refund. Not your state refund or your stimulus check. I spoke to someone at TT a week ago about it. You should receive your entire stimulus check.

I have not received mines yet I did a simple return, used TurboTax, had no fees deducted and I have the NetSpend all access account ( not prepaid). My refund for this tax season hit in the afternoon at around 3 p.m. Central standard Time. So I would expect maybe if it were going to come it would come in the afternoon because as soon as they send the funds ,it hits my account there’s no Grace period. So hoping soon.
