First 2 Stimulus DD Before But Now Being Mailed

My stimulus status updated this morning. I have received the last 2 via direct deposit but the tool is telling me mine will be mailed out on the 26th and nothing about my deposit info has changed.
So I Googled why this might be happening and came across this article from Forbes:

and the specific reason it says for my situation is:

“… Due to the pressure of tax season and the complexity of 2020 tax returns as a result of pandemic-related tax breaks and other types of governmental aid, if the direct deposit returns an error of any kind, your stimulus payment will be sent as a check or in some cases, as a debit card.”

Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation.

At least you’re getting it. Mine has been sent to the same exact closed account 2 weeks in a row.. March 17th and now March 24th.. I’m not understanding what the issue is

Same boat, showed correct account info that I just received my refund in on the 17th but now a cheque is being mailed with a letter??

The last 4 of bank account was correct (same account I received my tax return on the 17th, just fine) and now I’m being told it will be send by mail on the 26th. Did your statuses so state a letter will be sent with it?

Yes my said same thing, checked a couple of days ago info correct last 4 digits of banking correct, what a bunch of idiots. Mailing on 26th. Stupid,stupid, the government has pissed off so many millions of people within last year, irs a joke, our government. A joke our president a joke, our people i don’t know, we are screwed.
