Filing status changed?

Did have 1 bar and was being processed, then lost my bar and got the message that my return was being processed and a dd date would be provided then on the Saturday update WMR Started saying I was putting in the wrong information. Soo today I decided to try something different and used my information and changed the status to single and it actually pulled the still processing message. WTH is going on?

Same, filed married joint and shows no info but under single it says “still processing”.

Same thing is happening to me filled on 2/13 and almost immediately no info after I got email but under single it says still processing

@bev I did end up having to ID verify on Monday 2/25, although I am still seeing the error message when I enter married filing joint. If I enter single my message has changed from “still being processed” to “being processed”…how has your gone since ID verification?

Nope no code other than TT 152

@plhollis I called and am supposed to be getting a letter in the next few days. You may want to call as well. I think it means we are ID VERIFY flagged.

I had the same situation, let me check the status with MFJ at first then on 2/9 it gave me the “incorrect info” message. I read this post then tried “single” like you and it worked and gives me the “still processing” message.

I haven’t lived with my husband in 12 years. He files single, and I file head of household because the kids live with me. He claims them for the child credit and i get them for eic.

I just called the irs earlier to check on my refund because I got the same message. they told me I have to have my husband call because our account is not showing joint wich is weird because we filed jointly and it lets me check on wmr as married filled jointly. very confusing!!
