Filers getting refund through Capital one 360

Just making an official thread for capital one bankers to make it easier for everyone using them to stay updated. Keep in mind y’all, Capital One generally does not deposit ANYTHING early except for paycheck DD’s because paychecks are consistent over time and are less likely to be fraudulent or accidental. If you use Cap Once, feel free to update us when you have activity.

I’m not used to getting refunds, usually have to pay in but last couple years have gotten a refund. I used Cap One last year 2021, did not get refund early, was deposited on DDD around 6am.

Does anyone know of Capital One generally holds returns? Mine was deposited tonight at 1:16am & shows up in account as a deposit but isn’t available & not reflected on current balance. Not sure if they usually hold refunds for 1-5 b. days. Wondering if it’s due to refund being over the $5k daily deposit limit that’s why it’s not available. So just wondering if anyone’s return has been held by them before or if they’re supposed to be available immediately or what?

I have a 360 checking account and my refund was not deposited early. It wasn’t a pending transaction and even when calling the CS rep they couldn’t even see it but it was available when I checked my account at 5 am on the exact date the WMR showed would be sent to my bank.

Where do you see the pending for regular deposits? I’ve been using them for some months now and never see pending deposits.
DD 2/24. I usually see deposits post around 2-3AM PST. I’ll update if it’s anything different.

No it shouldn’t I’ve been using capital one for 5 years never had an issue

Capital one doesn’t show pending irs refunds they just deposit early in the morning

I was so worried glad you posted this is my first year with and I don’t even show my deposit pending is that normal and how is it going to work out for us if Monday is a holiday
