Hi, I filled Jan. 28th and waited 21 days only to receive a letter from the IRS stating I needed to verify my identity. I did. They then said wait another 9 weeks, I did only to receive another letter yesterday stating that the IRS needs 60 more days to decide what to do with my account. I filed the same tax return as I do every year just one less child.any possible explanations? Thanks!!

I’ve been waiting over one year for a flagged return. I call they tell me “still under review.
Meanwhile I’m being charged interest on payments from this years tax return.
This should be illegal.
Apparently the W2 that was electronically auto filled by Turbo Tax when filing was incorrect. I dont even know how that would happen.
Basically theres nothing I can do because they can do whatever the F they want.
