Preface: I usually give myself a month after filing before I start questioning/wondering whats up with my refund.

I was wondering if this situation is happening to anyone else but me as I have not seen a similar topic/situation here yet. As people have been getting PATH notifications or some kind of movement.

I filed on 1/15 and it got accepted on 1/16. However ever since it got accepted it has been stuck on this:

” We cannot provide any information about your refund.
If you electronically filed a complete and accurate tax return you should receive your refund in about 21 days from the received date. If you mailed your return please allow 6 weeks.

Please read the following information related to your tax situation:
      Tax Topic 152, Refund Information
If you have questions or need additional information, please have the following on hand when you call:
      A copy of this page.
A copy of your tax return.
The Social Security Number, Filing Status, and refund amount claimed on your return.
The date you mailed your return.
Please mention reference number 9001 to the IRS Customer Service Representative.”

With my refund amount to the left side. I went through the forums and could not find something similar to this happening as most peoples situation revolved around PATH messages .

I tried calling IRS yesterday just for some clarity and the lady was absolutely no help and just made things even more vague. After 7 minutes on hold with her she said there was some kind of “error”. What code, or what specifically she couldn’t tell me because her system went down (I wish i was joking on that part ..heh)

Anyone in a similar situation, or had this situation? As I stated most topics I see revolve around PATH, and are almost always PATH related. I haven’t got that message on mine yet, as it is stuck in that tax topic 152 blanket response since Jan 16th.

I’d call again based on the fact that the system went down and you couldn’t be helped properly.

Well buddy, you got a brother from another mother in this mystery. The date I was accepted is the 25 but everything else is identical. Till this day I’ve had no information can be provided with the 9001. Called and received scripted talking points about 21 days and everything’s ok! How when the tool that my Federal government states is the most accurate to track the return of “MY” money is telling me something is wrong compared to my other peers, some filling before and after me!

The last call I was told that the 21 days started on the 28th and to wait until the 21/22. In my opinion, this is a complete embarrassment that our government can’t get this right. Good luck

Mine was accepted 1/15, then mine went to the screen you have next day. On 2/9 I think it was, mine updated to message delayed code 1541. No path message for me, although I am path. I qualified for additional child tax credit this year, first time. Wasnt expecting that :/ My transcripts became available 2/8, code 570 hold on them. No update as of today, unfortunately. Best wishes.
