Hello again!! Wow what a freaking year! Hopefully we’re all back, healthy and getting ready to watch our refunds move! I know a lot of people out there are getting screwed on refunds due to all the tax changes, stimulus checks and unemployment federal benefit extra money was not allowed to withhold tax. Lets all watch together and share in the process that is wait, wait, wait and more waiting. Heres to a hopeful quick and easy refund season!! Fingers crossed!

@LolaR I don’t know the answer to your question, but they have given everyone student loan payment extensions, which would make it hard to offset them. Regardless, I know a very simple way you can make sure your refund is not offset for loans. Call and make a payment arrangement and ask for a 60 day forbearance. If it’s in forbearance, it is no longer delinquent.

WMR finally updated to one bar!!!

I read somewhere that they were not doing offsets for student loans. Anyone have a collaboration on that? We filed an injured spouse claim bc offsets were a go when we re-filed. Hopefully they process it w/out regarding the IS claim if they don’t do SL offsets.

IRS accepted our return on 2/10. We have EIC/ACTC and filed injured spouse. Nothing shows up on WMR yet but I’m not too worried about it, we have a ways to wait.

Irs website states that pathers should expect to see updates on wmr by Feb 22nd and refunds starting first week of march. So at least that helps us not to worry til then!

I was waiting for someone to post that they’ve filed as I’ve filed yesterday too lol. Hopefully no path message this year since irs accepts on 2/15 but let’s see how this goes!

Hoping this year is better than the last! We just received our 2019 refund today. TA said we looked good for 2020, so we shall see!!
