Good for you! I woke up to the PATH message. The last few years I haven’t received the DDD or second bar until the day after my DDD. At least it’s movement I suppose :)

No, it has not changed. Still one bar. I spoke to an agent at the IRS and she said that their updates are supposed to be sent out in large updates but it often doesn’t process successfully across the board and I may not ever see it change from the 152 message to the PATH message before it shows Approved then Sent

Yeah, that person must not have read your post fully. I tried yesterday and it CLEARLY said (I am paraphrasing) “there is currently no TRT for the requested year available. please try again”. several agents from IGMR have confirmed that while it is not 100% guaranteed, being able to order a TRT is an indication the return is completed.

@Jsh2017 thank you ! Because someone on another forum said that’s the message they got when they were not able to order their transcripts. I was confused because I could have sworn it would say they are unavailable. But I am just waiting to get the path message I do have eic with 1 child claimed !

I got that message too. It means you have a valid 2016 RT and it will be mailed. If you did not have one, it would say it is not available.
According to the trending processes of the IRS this tax season, it means your return is completed and you will likely get a DDD tomorrow morning along with the rest of the weeklies that filed within this respective cycle. fingers-crossed for all of us :-)

Was able to order my return trannys today around 1am so I expect an ddd tomorrow for the 15 the and not even have to see the path message since it will be dated for the future which is after or own the 15th but only time will tell gdluck all

@TraciT …Me too!! My return transcript was not available yesterday. Today they are :-) I know its not an exact science but DEF a good sign! Fingers-crossed for a DDD when I wake up in the morning! :-)

Looking back at the last 3 years’ return transcripts and my cycle #s all end in 05, which means I’m weekly. I filed around 6pm on the 27th so I probably missed the cut-off for a DD this week (should have been today if only I was a little earlier).

Lurked around here off and on today and found that the general consensus is – if you’re weekly, you’ll be able to order transcripts on Friday, WMR will update overnight Friday and you’ll have 2 Bars and a DDD Saturday, and funds deposited Wednesday.

This is consistent with the past few years for me.

Some of you sound like weekly filers. Depending when you filed 1/27, (I filed at 6pm at night). I was too far in the day to get processed during that Cycle Week. I had to get re-sequenced which took about a week and then bam, DDD. I am a daily filer. If what I think is happening to many of you, check Saturday morning. I bet most of you will have a DDD.

Filed 1.27 accepted a few mins later. No movement till yesterday. Yesterday I was able to order both transcripts and this morning wmr moved to 2 bars and DD on 2/10. Good luck everyone else it has been a horrible roller coaster ride.

Okay, so there’s hope. Filed and accepted on 1/27, have had one bar this whole time with tax topic 152. Finally today got my second bar (approved) and a ddd of 2/10. No EIC or ACTC, but CTC and 4 W2s which probably contributed to the delay. So I line up with the cycle charts. I did not order transcripts.

Last year I filed 2/5 and DD on 2/12 with cycle# 20160602.
Even thou I filed a week early this year, I’m getting my refund same as last year.

Maybe checking your cycle code from last year will give you an idea when you might get it this year.

If I remember correctly, my transcripts weren’t available until 2/6 either. If that’s the case, since I filed on 1/27 this year, maybe tomorrow I’ll have an update. I also read on a thread here that there’s a big update on Monday nights.

@TraciT Let me know what they say if you do? Last year, my taxes got held up for over a month because of a review. They would not even answer any questions until after 21 days. Before that though, I would always get my return direct deposited after a week of submitting.

@Tdrit25 Can you see your transcripts? I can only see Account, and that’s blank. I called the IRS this morning and a Mr. Kerr said that’s because they haven’t started processing any returns yet. I almost laughed. Almost.

ID PIN due to husbands identity being stolen 9 years ago.

Federal Refund approved and expected DDD is 2/8/17.

Ca Refund was approved a couple of days earlier but I’m still waiting for the funds to come through.

How often are transcripts updated?

Very strange. Last few years I’ve been weekly, my account transcript updated either Monday or Tuesday thus week with just 0.00 values. I always see transcript updates on Saturdays and get a DDD on a Saturday. No transcript updates at all, still blank with 0.00. So either the timing changed for me this year or I’ve been re synced into another cycle
