I filed my taxes and the IRS accepted them today! WMR has already updated to show return received and a statement saying that I should get my refund within 21 days. Keeping my fingers crossed as last year was such a mess with the healthcare issues!

So I filed on the 19th, late at night, accepted on the 22nd, apparently. Only one bar. Received my state taxes already (I’m in Missouri). Just checked to see if I could order transcripts. I was able to order the account transcript, but not the return transcript. What does that mean? Am I looking at a ddd of 2/1, 2/3, 2/5, or worse? Last year I got my taxes back the last Friday of January. That’s came and went this go round. Last year the pizza tracker didn’t update until my refund had been issued. Would feel better if I just knew when it was coming.

States are faster this year. I never get my michigan before my federal (last year was a fl u ke, I filed bankruptcy, and unemployment still took my federal, they gave it back in early March after I filed an adversary claim with bk court ND they were ordered to return it)

I just checked michigan and it was approved with a dd of 2/3. And still nothing on feds.

The wmr doesn’t matter you can still get your money regardless if the bars move or not..this is from experience

i filed with jackson hewitt on 1/19 and accepted later that day. Im still at the same one bar on WMR. Also on the Jackson Hewitt website its only showing that the IRS has acknowledged my return. I’ve tried checking the status of my WI state return but I haven’t got the site to load all day long. Holding out that there will be an update tomorrow.

BOTH Me and My Fiancee filed with TurboTax
                          I filed 1/19 at 1PM / My Fiancee filed 1/19 at 4PM
                          I was Accepted 1/19 at 1:44PM / She was Accepted 1/19 at 5:12PM
Both State returns were also Accepted shortly after
Still 1 bar on WMR for both
                          Both SBBT says expected 2/9

However, last year SBBT said something like that as well (about 20 days out from when we filed) and we got ours on the 30th last year. SO, with past history being taken into account, I am expecting everybody that file 1/19 before the close of business or earlier to be getting refunds around the 30th. Last year my WMR updated on the Weds (1/28) before my DDD (1/30). So we should see DDD’s 6AM Weds morning I think..

I filed my tax on the 16th of Jan, it got accepted on the 19th. Nothing has changed on WMR! Should I be worried or just be patient and wait?

I filed on 1/18 and was accepted on the 19th by late afternoon. WMR still has the one bar and generic 21 days message. I am hoping for DD this week..TT says by February 9th. Anyone else in the same boat?

Last year I was accepted 1/27/15 and was deposited on 2/2. WMR never updated for me until after my refund was sent to my acct.

                                    Filed 1/19/2016 | Accepted 1/19/2016 | WMR > One Bar
SBTPG says expected 2/9/16 and shows refund amount.

Last year within in 5 days everything was done and completed. I filed on Sunday 1/25/15 | Accepted 1/25/15 | WMR changed on 1/29/15 with DD 2/4/15. But I got it on 1/30/15 Netspend. I really am praying and holding faith the same happens this year and DD will be 1/26/2016.

I filed 1/19 with H&R Block. Usually, before I even leave the office my return would already be accepted by the IRS, as of yet it hasn’t. I’m hoping they’ll update it soon, it’s never taken this long.

@Tarah I wouldn’t. If, and that’s a BIG if, you get a hold of someone at the IRS they will tell you wait 21 days. I filed and it did take longer this year to go from send to accepted then last year. I bet you by tonight it will send you accepted. The places we file with send it in batches to the IRS so I wouldn’t worry.

Still no acceptance for me or my motherinlaw…..I have never had it take this longer for simply accepting it (the most its ever taken has been a few hours). Should I call the IRS?

Hello everyone. My wife and I got filed this evening. Had a kid this last year and bought a house so I expect it to take a little time. I have been on this site for a while and am pretty familiar with how this works. If anyone has any questions, let me know and I will do my best to help answer them. Good luck everyone, I hope this is a great (and easy!) season for everyone.

I filed the 11th and got accepted the 13th and got one bar at this time. But their are 2 people saying that got a ddd for the 22nd but I don’t think it will be to the 29th the first ddd so lets see what happens it would be nice to get it then but I don’t see it happening.

I am by no means endorsing this as fact but it is yet another guess when DD will hit. Mine says Thursday. I wonder if I check it Thursday if “April’s fools” or something similar will pop up.

@Tarah, the good news is those not accepted are usually immediate also. For some reason they are taking longer this year.
