Filed 1/19 w/H&R Block and still no acceptance

I filed 1/19 at 630 am through H&RBlock and my motherinlaw did hers at 7am same way-neither of us have been accepted yet. Anyone having an issue getting accepted? Dont know who I should call but i’m definitely not happy as it never takes more then a few hours in the past for it to be accepted.

I filed with H&R Block on the 17th. It was accepted on the 20th.

I filed HRB 1/20 and have not been accepted. I have used them for years, always been accepted within hours. I called and the lady told me it was the IRS backed up; which makes no sense since every other company seems to be getting theirs through!

Also, my state return doesn’t get released to my state until my IRS return is accepted, so I guess I get to wait there, too. HRB may lose me over this, depending on how long the delay. They should at least be honest, instead of blaming IRS!

I filed with H&R Block on 1/18 at 11pm and my status still shows as pending. Like everyone else I always received an email stating my return was accepted within a few hours, so I was a little concerned. I just called H&R Block and spoke to a customer service rep and she advised me that my return wasn’t actually submitted to the IRS until 1/20. She said they had an influx of returns that we in their queue. I assumed it was submitted on the 19th when the IRS started accepting them. I hope this information helps anyone else wondering why their status is still pending.

I thought other people taxes I did free returns on the 15th they all got accepted within 5 or 10 minutes I did another one about maybe the next day or two days later it just got accepted so hang in there it will get accepted is everything is right

I filed HRB on 1-19 & was accepted 48 hours later today 1-21.
Keep in mind that there’s a heavy influx of people filing right now so it may take up to 48 hours. I got anxious since I have been accepted immediately in the past but I am feeling better now that i know they have it. I am just waiting on the approval & its all good from there. I expect they will be pumping out the refunds as soon as they can. Hang in there everyone, we will be paid soon!

I did my taxes on text at and got accepted the same day which was the 15th of January good luck everyone

Did you call H&R Block’s 800 number? I filed through H&R Block on 1/18 at 11 pm and still says pending. In the past I have been accepted within a few hours of filing.

Update- I filed 1/19 with H&R Block, checked WMR at 1:00pm and I just got accepted. I’m not sure why this year it’s taken a couple days every other year I’ve filed before I left the office I’d already have an acceptance.

Had the same problem, i filed on 01/18/2016, i called the 800 number and managed to get past the automated system. talked to a person that told me to wait, but just as soon as i hung up i got a text saying it had been accepted. they didn’t admit it but they did something to fix it.
