A couple of things…I know I have an offset with past taxes but after they apply my refund then I should get some money back. When I call the Offset number, all it says is that there are no nontax debts on the database. I find it weird that it says that and nothing about my tax bill. Shouldn’t it say that I have an offset with past taxes? Also, the WMR is still showing processing. I am not getting any codes but the typical tax topic code.

Also, for the 2nd year in a row, I have been requested to answer questions about my identity for Ohio. I called IRS to see if I need to do that since this is my 2nd year doing this questionnaire for Ohio but was told that nothing is in their system but it’s still processing. Do you think I should be proactive and verify my identify with the IRS, or if that is possible? I

      Thanks

It’s for Obamacare. I bet it’s about 2 percent right? We lost insurance for 2 months due to changing jobs and moving states. And Tt said we were exempt but it looks like the irs says otherwise. Hopefully people vote republican so this crap can be repealed asap.

I can only order the account transcripts. I wonder when the next update is.

The offest line does not give information on IRS tax debt. I am in the same boat. Know I owe them money from 2013, but I should be getting a huge chunk back. I filed on the 25th accepted on the 26th..and can order both transcripts. I am just frustrated..I had my tax rmreturn last year by the 12th so I will keep my fingers crossed.

My taxes were submitted on the 27th but IRS said that it didn’t start processing until the 28th. I know it hasn’t been long but this whole identity situation has got me worried.

Yeah I hear ya loud and clear. trust me! I don’t know when you filed, but I just hope it was recently. Millions of people have been waiting a long time.

I filed 1/17 and accepted 1/19. Everyday since then has been pure mystery as to whats going on, but it looks like things are back to normal now, we shall see!

Thanks. I just wished it was done processing but it’s not. I don’t know when it will update again but I would like to have the little bit of money that I do get back.

I am not sure what to say about the offset line. It should say you have one if you do, maybe it will not say til you are done processing? Not sure on this.

But there is a way to verify your identity with the IRS online, but I would not do it unless you KNOW you need to as it cane delay you up to 9 weeks.
