      Do they say this every year?

      the past three years I’ve always gotten it in between the 15th and 21st of February. As a PATHER.

      https://www.irs.gov/individuals/refund-timing

      “When will I get my refund?

      The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 27, 2019, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.”

          There are people that have path that have recieved due dates for 2/15/19 with a screen shot attached. So I believe you are putting out false information that you made up in your brain.

            @Sarah
            I am also a Pather, self employment wages recorded and showing “expected amount” on SBTPG. Updated to PATH on 2/2 and have had no further movement. I am of the understanding or should I say belief that once updated to the PATH info on both WMR and SBTPG that it more than likely is a sign of approval and now just a waiting game with visual updates to be seen this upcoming 15th or 16th. However, until you actual see “Received Amount” on SBTPG, then u can be assured no funds have been issued as of yet.

              Somewhat unrelated, although I am also a ‘PATHer’, if the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group has the expected refund amount in, is that a sign that my refund was approved? Or is it just filled in any way due to the taxpayer entering the refund amount at login?

              Also if the SSA has your self-employment income for 2018 recorded that is a sure sign of approval correct?

              God this PATH thing drives people crazy it would be great to still be able to see an approval bar along with the PATH message…..

                They say a far out date every year just in case. Better safe than sorry I guess, you never know when there might be a shut down or anything disruptive to the irs

                      Each year the date changes a little. This year is the 27th. If your bank posts early, you could get it early. The earliest they will release it is 2/23 from what they are saying, but others are claiming to already have a DDD for earlier.
