Faxing 1095A/8962

I mistakenly filed without attaching my 1095A. Does anyone have history with faxing documents to the irs? How long does it take for them to receive my forms via fax.

Never updated to the “PATH” message
Stayed on the One Bar til the 17th of Feb, which changed to “We have received your taxes and it is STILL being processed etc..

I called and spoke to a human on the 16th and was told a letter was sent to my address on the 7th but never received this letter yet. Smh luckily the human ran over what was on the letter being sent . my damn healthcare forms smh

I just faxed my forms in this morning at 9am. So now I’m hoping for a smooth process. Hopefully no more minor set backs

I was only covered one month and my letter 12c only indicated cover sheet, copy of letter, 8962 and 1095a. Didn’t specify to include SSN# on all pages. But it was submitted

so long as you sent in a cover page with form 1095a and 8965 and had your social security number on top of each page you should be ok. I had to do the same on feb. 9th. I called today to find out more info about it and they said it takes them roughly 6wks because its then done like a paper return rather than e-file so it takes them longer to do it. Good luck! I was told to wait 4wks before checking WMR and to expect refund by march 23rd.

Odd that they sked for the 1095A as its only used to create the 8962 form. Did you both omit them all together and or were you covered for one month or similar ?

Same here. Filed and accepted 01/22 and ltr 12c received 02/10 dated 02/07. I faxed 02/11 that Sunday so not sure if processed of receipt but I did get the confirmation it went through ok. Here’s to us getting DDD and hopefully soon. I spoke with IRS rep 1st thing this morning and she stated that there is no ID verification needed (as I pretended, I was calling to ID verify) and that they did received my fax. No other confirmations as of yet. Will keep you posted
