Has anyone received their second stimulus payment yet to their H&R Block Emerald Card or their bank account if they did the rapid refund for their tax refund? Earlier this year I did the rapid refund via H&R Block but had the rest of my tax refund deposited to my bank account. When the first stimulus came out I got it via direct deposit even though the IRS only had the account information for H&R Block. I’m wondering if it’s gonna be that way again?

what happend was h&r use to bank with axos prior to Dec.2020 but since they just switched to meta bank we were issued new rn’s and an’s so all that is needed to be done is for you to activate a new emerald card ,you can go to your local Hr block and ask them to issue you a temp card which you’ll use to transfer funds from old account to new one call 18663531266 as early as possible and wait the long wait time to speak with a live agent and they can help 100%

I went to the nearest h&r block office , told them my wallet was stolen and they helped me get a new card and cancel my old card because when I called the 1 800 number for emerald it kept hanging up on me. I’ve been on hold with this number 8886874722 for an hr and 15 minutes so far but it’s not hanging up on me so we’ll see. I read in the H&R Block Facebook page that when you call this number and keep pressing 0 til it puts you on hold, they can transfer your money. Worth a try 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you have the card but a balance of 0.00$ log in to emerald card site and accept the new terms of service from meta bank as soon as i did this my funds were back instantly its also the exact moment i finally got someone to answer after over an hour on hold

Update guys, H&R Block released my money and it went to my personal bank account. I’m so relieved to know I don’t have to use their emerald card. It just posted at 3am in my account and funny thing I received an email from them at 1am stating it should be in my account no later than January 6th by the end of the day. Check out H&R Block Twitter. It says if you have an old emerald card it will be transferred to your new emerald card. If you had fees taken out and it was sent to Axos bank they will forward it to your bank account.

Then they suddenly appeared on the new card so there ishope for everyone!

Last year got a split refund, half advanced on an emerald card and other half direct deposit to my personal account.
1st stimulus went straight to my personal account.
BUT the 2nd one went to an emerald card that’s long gone in the trash.
My money says either some dumbass coded an automated system wrong, typical for government employees or the banks really wanted a slick trick to keep something for themselves.
Don’t trust anyone. The X-files had it right.

HR block has finally transferred my money from the old card to the new one. It took them about couple hours to transfer the money from my old card to the new on. If ur accnt goes bck to zero n says Remove funds-batch/ bank TXFR is means they r transfering your money to the new card.

KY around 10am I recieved my Stimulus payment today & it was loaded onto an old emerald card. Haven’t been able to get through to Customer Service all day. I had my unemployment direct deposited to my card and it had gone to my old card every time despite the fact that I requested to have the issue fixed. I just used the IRS Where’s My Payment tool. It says my check will be mailed on January 6th. I received my first stimulus on the old card. Per the IRS the account was closed and my payment was sent back so now I have to wait for a paper check. Use the Where’s My Payment tool to check which card it will go to of if your getting a check.

Unfortunately, if you have the old emerald card (because you never received the new one or for whatever reason) and your stimulus goes into this account, it’s useless. The card is void so you will have to get a new card and hopefully they’re able to transfer the funds. However, H&R Block isn’t able to issue a new card because of “technical issues” which blocks them from doing anything.

You should be able to call h&r block and have them transfer funds from your old card to the new card that was an option for me when I applied for my emerald advance this year…they asked me if I would like to transfer funds from my old account to my new account

If you were issued a new emerald card you are completely screwed out of your 2nd stimulus money. It will goto your old card and they have no idea how they will fix the problem at all. @jess first off, is the new card for the same account? If it is, it should go to you anyway. I have had to order a new paycard for jobs before and I got my check just fine wo changing anything. However, if it’s a new account (maybe call card company and ask if you dk), you can either get a replacement card if account still open. If it’s closed and your deposit went there, it will bounce back to irs and you’ll either get a paper check or have to claim it on tax return

If you call the number on the back of your card and listen past the woman speaking, a guy will come on with a prerecorded message that says that they have received a message from IRS that your credit will be deposited on 1/4. Worth a call if you are wondering if you have a pending deposit. You can not talk to someone unless your card has been lost or stolen. The message says that they are not taking phone calls at this time.
