I seriously think something is up with the Emerald Card itself.. maybe in addition to any issues with H and R.. Let me explain.
I went through Turbo Tax. No fees. Eitc and Actc. Filed 1/25. Accepted 1/25. Path message then accepted 2/18 showing a DDD 2/23 on WMR.
I havent gone through H and R since 2013. However I have used this emerald card for child support for some time.. therefore I used it when I filed with turbo tax to direct deposit my refund. I have not received my return. Its not my DDD yet but it appears every other person with my ddd date and TT no fees WITH a prepaid card has. In addition to not receiving my refund- my child support always hits Sunday night or between 12 and 2 am Monday morning. ALWAYS. So I call to check my balance and there is an automated mesaage that I have a pending deposit and that the funds will not be available until 2/22. Now I understand Monday was a a holiday. But why wouldn’t I get it Today on the 21st? When I called to ask why, was transferred multiple times and they told me I had to call Child support if I havent received my finds. I explained every payment is the same.. paid on Fri, deposits sunday between 11pm and 2 am. EVERY MONTH. Asked why its pending, and told me emerald card call center employees have NO WAY to see pending deposits on their system. Ok… so the automated system can relay pending information including the amount of payment and a date it will be availbale but humans cant? Idk whats going on but just wanted to post to give some insight.
Also.. if anyone has ever done this please comment on the process if you sidnt use h and r but use their card.
