EITC/ACTC Got Refund

My wife said that she knows at least 10 people (her friends and friends of friends) that have children and took the EITC and/or ACTC and received their federal refunds already as early as 2 weeks ago. One person received theirs just today. We have 2 kids and I’m still getting the PATH ACT message on WMR. Called and talked to 2 different people at the IRS, they said no DDD and said we will have to wait until the 27th.

i just got update on WMR and got a DDD of 22nd. unlike the rest of people who may buy new cell phones i worked 2 jobs and have 3 kids claimed 0 all year to take out more money and investing in my childrens future as a single mom i will be putting a down payment on a house for a reward for my hard work . I wonder what the reason behind the delay (specifically for EITC) is?

SBGT is a bank that many recieve their taxes from if they request to have their preparation fees deducted from their tax refund.

Robert your wife’s friends who had those credits did not get their federal refunds unless they were mistaken about the credits they had or possibly got a refund anticipation lloan.

just got a message from TT saying my refund was accepted , but wmr is still at 1 bar no path message and I have the EIC credit only on return. ??????????????/

It’s a lie. Literally again the law (Path Act).

Funds will start being released TODAY for some people (confirmed through SBGT) but NOBODY with those credits has their refunds. If they tell you they do, they’re confused about which credits they’re receiving or they’re just lying.
