      Tax refunds for EITC and ACTC filers

      The “Where’s My Refund” tool will also be updated this week for the majority of early filers who claimed either the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC). Before that, those filers may receive a projected date or message saying the IRS was still processing their return.

          I don’t trust them saying there’s a big update. He’ll they liked about why people are seeing smaller refunds or owing. So yeah, in my case I’mma say I doubt it. I’ll probably be calling on the 28th. 🤷

            Correction. I did see that if you are updated this Saturday 2/23 then you will receive your refund on 2/27. USAA has been depositing a day early so you’d have your funds available on the 26th some time during the day…

              @Mei

              If you do receive a DD this Saturday then your refund is guaranteed to be deposited next week ion Wednesday or Thursday 2/27 or 2/28.

              I sooke with a rep at USAA today around 3pm and she told me that even they don’t know when the deposits are coming in until they come in. She told me there iare no hold ups on their end that it’s all depending on who you file with and how fast they process it through their bank, i.e. HR Block, Turbo Tax, Jackson Hewitt etc.
              I had my prep fees deducted from my refund and I couldn’t tell you if this made a difference of whether or not I received my return in the AM v. PM but I still received in today (a day earlier than my DD of 2/22)

              Are you willing to schedule an appt for your wife tomorrow 2/22 for the following Friday 2/29?- and if you’re WRM is updated 2/23 then you can keep the appt and In the event it isn’t, would you be able to cancel/reschedule first thing Monday morning?
              Just an idea. I’m just saying that if you are updated you are guaranteed those funds next week.

              Let me know okay?

                It says right on the irs website that most early filers won’t be updated on their website until the 23rd and will receive funds on the 27th.

                  My wife wont get her double D’s by the 23rd. We were told by doctors office they need at least a week notice for appointments and I cant make one if i dont know when my refund will come in.

                    I’ve been saying this all along. I believe the majority of you will get a DD by the 23rd for a deposit on 2/27-2/29

                    Update and let us know when you do 😄

                      If I don’t have my refund before March 1 they can keep it! Can’t get a damn house back once they foreclose! Sonsofbitches! Last year we filed A WEEK LATER than we did this year, and already had our refund by now! Can’t even get an update!

                              I highly doubt a major publication like USA today is lying to you because they want to mess with your head over your tax return what.
