Had a DDD of 2/22. I got the NetSpend card, and the full amount was deducted at 1:01AM. See you guys next year!!! Good luck everyone else.

this person could be telling the truth. I live in Texas, have a Netspend account and the bank I put down on all my direct deposit routing and account info is “The Bancorp Bank”. I always get my paychecks a day sooner than others and when it comes to tax refund, I get it deposited without the WMR site even moving to the second bar.
I filed on 2/7 this year with EIC & CTC. I lost my one bar on Saturday 2/16 and have “Your return is being processed” message with all my info on the left side. Last two years, I have been a weekly, depositing on Friday again without the IRS.gov WMR website ever updating until days later.

I have had NetSpend for 6 years. My refund usually comes the day it’s set to be deposited or a day early. And it usually comes at between 5:30 and 6 p.m Eastern standard timet. My refund goes to the Santa Barbara tax group first (since I used TurboTax) then they send it to MetaBank which goes to your NetSpend card( usually all in a day’s time) however I believe that this man is not being forthcoming just my opinion

Every year I promise myself I won’t file before opening day. And yet I still do.
I actually got a DDD in the first round of PATHers this year at least, but it does seem to penalize early filers most of the time.

Egh, I filed Jan 11th, accepted like immediately, changed to processing feb 15th, still same. First come, last served? Cool they are giving out some though, I know a lot of us need it ASAP.

I also believe that this person is full of shit but for the record, Netspend is not west coast. They are in Minnesota, at least the BanCorp bank is, and netspend uses 2 different banks, but either way, you should probably get a little bit more information before posting. You sound like a dip shit when you call people out onbtheir BS and you use BS to do it. -
I usually file through tax act but I filled with a service this year to apply for an advance. I didn’t get the advance. Will my return still go through republic bank first and then they send it to my bank?

Spoke to someone who has the Child Credit. They told me they received there Federal Check in the mail. A check! Now where’s our deposits?!!!

Have EITC and ACTC still no DDD.Last year, I dont think WMR updated (for me) but my transcripts showed DDD about 2 days before it hit my account. Last 2 years I received it on the 22nd or 23rd and I always file mid-January.
Next year, I swear I am waiting until after IRS opens for processing.

Firsr. Netspend is a west coast bank.. For you to say you got yours before midnight pacific time is first flag.. 2nd.. Ive used netspend for 5 years and always have gotten mine (as have most) middle of the day of the DDD…if ya have fees taken out cuz it comea from sbtg.. . again.. Why do people lie? They wanna feel special

Just to point out the ddd says your money should be in your bank “BY” the 22 so it could be any day by that day if not by the 27th call

this is where the forum starts getting nasty and unhelpful. people are so cruel once u actually have a deposit. last year I just checked again I thought I got mine on the 18th i rechecked I had it on the 16th on bluebird no fees and my ddd was the 22nd didn’t update till after my deposit. unfortunatley I was not that lucky this year and I have fees. but it’s getting to the point where telling people they are liers you may just be being a douche. I know I sure as hell didn’t stick around last year after I got my deposit to “prove it.”

Yeah i believe it because as soon as they receive notice of an incoming deposit the will “front” the funds. Congratulations! People with Rush Card have already been receiving deposits as well. Its really not that hard to believe.

I have had netspend for years. I have a son with SSI and i have used it for income tax as well and have never had a government deposit go in at night. It’s BS.

He could be. I’ve been with NetSpend for years and my son’s SSI gets deposited 6 days early so it is possible he gets his already if his ddd is 2/22

why do you call BS ?? It is after the middle of February and he has a netspend which get there refund 3 days sooner normally and a lot of people have a DDD for 2/22 -
