      Hello everyone

Longtime lurker but first time poster. Was wondering if I could get a concrete answer about my situation instead of having to call IRS.

      Federal accepted 1/16
Had one bar for a few days, now all I see is 152/9001

I can access my account and wage and income transcripts for 2018 but they both say no record of return filed.

Haven’t received any notice in the mail. Am I ok?

I guess around now, people will start receiving bad codes on the wmr once it updates and getting letters in the mail. I have been processeing since the big update on the 16th. no codes, but I still haven’t received my state and I think something is going to pop up Saturday for me. Like a bad code or something. I guess I will just wait and see.

            Same boat here.
            Accepted 1/14
2/18 is a rolling date. Its supposed to move up a week till you get Processed.
Then usually another week for a DDD.

I have the 9001,152 code as well. I was even told by a previous agent for the IRS that I was ok. On Friday 02.15.19, I received a letter from the IRS to verify my identity. I was not able to talk to someone until this morning. I had to verify my information from last year return as well as this year return. I would keep check on the mail to see if you have a letter coming in from them.

IRS Error Code 9001 is becoming a very common error code that a lot of people are reporting on Where’s My Refund.

But what does it mean? According to the IRS, all it means is that the Where’s My Refund system (or IRS2Go) was accessed by a secondary SSN on the return.

Some of the common themes I see with this are:

Wife accessed the return, but husband was primary filer
Kids accessed the return, but parents were primary filers
Family isn’t communicating and telling the other person they accessed it
Typos – Typo on the return or typo entered information on WMR
The bottom line is that IRS Code 9001 means NOTHING for your return status. It has nothing to do with identity theft directly (but it could), and it is no reason to call the IRS. For more information, see our detailed write-up on IRS Code 9001.

Hey same code here the 9001 filed 1/23 accepted 1/30 then about a week ago the 9001 code showed up. Yesterday would have been the 14 days I guess for them to send something out so should I be looking out for a letter or just waiting the 21 days out. Also what are transcripts and how do I access them?

You should be fine if you havent received any notices the irs usually sends out notices within 14 days of your return being accepted if there are any issues i called about the same thing and was told it was just a generic processing message i figured i had to idverify this year but nothing has been sent out we should see a update this saturday for a ddd as far as the feb 18th processing date thats just the 21 day mark from when the irs started processing returns which was on jan 28th

Same here. I’ve been 152 and 9001 since 1/23. My transcripts are all zeros but I do have a date listed on it for February18 which I am told is a good sign. Do your tax transcripts have a date listed on them?
