      I filed using free TT online on the early afternoon of 1/7. Standard deductions, two 1099-Rs. It’s now 5:30pm on 1/9 but return hasn’t been accepted yet. Maybe this weekend or coming Monday.

                I filed on Jan 8th. I usually get anotice of return accepted within 24 hours. Today is the 11th and still haven’t heard anything. I know the IRS doesn’t accept returns until the 27th but it was the same as the last few years and I was accepted Within 24 hours those years. Maybe the IRS is going to make everyone wait it out this year.
