So I filed my taxes January 13 accepted January 14 went into review after the opening of the tax season. I got a letter stating what I need to send in for proof of E.I.C. I sent that info in on February 27.. every time O call the IRS they give me a run around. The last call I made they told me my 45 days will be up on April 14th and if I haven’t heard anything or got a DDD by then to call back the next day. I’ve seen people talk about getting a TA but I’ve already dent in all my paperwork and I’m not sure what more they can do for me… I figure by the time the TA can get to it the 14th will be here.. So I don’t know if I should continue to wait or what? Has anyone who has been in review for E.I.C. got anything back yet or any news on when they might get it?

My friend filed theirs on 2/6 approved the same day & got a letter to fill out form 8962 faxed info on 3/5. Just got a date last week on WMR that the check will be sent 4/22. WMR says it has been sent but nothing as of yet. No clue as to how long that will take. Direct deposit was what they chose but for some reason they’re sending it by check. I’ll try to update when it’s received.

So still nothing!! When I called the other day IRS rep told me they were doing returns from January and it shouldn’t be to much longer! I hope not because I really need and want my money! I didn’t qualify for a hardship…smh… so there’s nothing left but to wait!
