      Wondering why it is taking so long to be accepted this year… wondering if the IRS doesn’t accept returns today (SUNDAY)
      Any insight?

            I too have that form and am still pending. It’s nice to have an idea of why. Hopefully they get those going soon. 🤔

                I’m also still not accepted.. Filed 2/9 thru credit karma. I wonder if it’s anything to do with a certain form. Has anyone that’s not accepted yet had to use any different forms this year? I saw someone on fb say they haven’t been accepted yet and used form 8915-e, I also had to use this one. Wondering if that has anything to do with it

                  I filed Saturday morning and was accepted a few hours later. Today(Presidents’ Day) war updated to Nothing from state though. Received and processing.

                    Still….not …..accepted. Pending. Makes zero sense. Has to be something with TT. My sister filed with H&R this morning and was immediately accepted. No delay…

                      I am having the same problem. I filed with credit karma. It’s frustrating but I have no clue why ether. 🤷

                        I am seeing people ssy they were accepted the same day they filed. I am Still pending on TT and it’s been over 48 hours. Any ideas why?

                              Good news is it’s a 24/7 automated operation. Bad news is it’s all being processed by a 56 year old mainframe that still uses reels of tape.

                                        They do accept on weekends and holidays. Everything is automated by a computer so it never gets a day off. Mine was accepted this morning. I do know since the season didn’t open until Feb 12 that there is a backlog of people waiting inline for them to accept the taxes. No worries it will come anytime.
