I filed on 1/30 and under fed withheld I accidentally added an extra number. I didn’t discover the error until I went over my refund several times due to no bars/still processing message on WMR. My question is: since I made that mistake, does the IRS usually fix those errors or will I have to amend?? Since it was an error in which the IRS has the information I figured they will fix it but I’m probably wrong. They must be doing something with it because I have had this message since 2/3: Refund is still processing. A DD date with be given when available.
I’m a nervous wreck here! Any help/advice would be great!

I had to follow up with where I got my taxes done and sign a piece of paper and sent it to the irs. It was very easy after the problem was caught

Thank you, Ashley. Did you have to amend your return or was it a simple fix?
