I am not eligible for EITC or ACTC. Last year, I filed at the end of January and my refund didn’t get processed until February, with all of the EITC/ACTC filers.

I did, however, have a Social Security tax over-payment, which appeared on my Schedule 5. I have it again for this year (2019 taxes).

Does anyone know if this type of refundable credit delays the refund process? Google is failing me.

No. We had excess social security filed early and already have ddd.
