          DID YOU GET AN ANSWER CAUSE I WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS TOO?

          No I know I think you’re confused by what I’m asking I did not have the earned income tax credit or the additional child tax credit all I had was a regular tax credit for having 3 kids we are way over income to get the EIC so what I’m asking is did everybody that files taxes get the path message whether you file with kids or not

                  Same here. Filed 1/31. CTC and ACTC. Got the Path msg this morning. Now we wait til the 15th. I did read somewhere someone was advised by an IRS rep that the PATH msg means approved just can’t be released yet per law. Just throwing that out there.

                      @yvette

                      I filed 1/20 and Accepted 1/23. went from WMR 1 bar last night to waking up this morning to this message :

                      According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue refunds before February 15 for tax returns that claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit. This applies to the entire refund, even the portion not associated with these credits.
                      Check Where’s My Refund after February 15 for your personalized refund status. It’s updated once a day and remains the best way to check the status of your refund.
