DISAPPEARING BARS ANYONE????

I saw someone on the IGMR facebook page say their bars have disappeared, last year mine disappeared on a Friday and I woke up Saturday to a DDD of 1/29.

Disappearing bars DON’T always mean you will have a DDD. My sister’s bars disappeared last year the same time mine did and she didn’t wake up to a DDD BUT there are a lot of people who do.

I was pulled for review last year. When I called they said it was because of an id flag. I never had to verify myself or anything. I never received a ip pin number this year just the efile pin. I was accepted on the 14th. If I was supposed to provide an IP pin would I have been rejected?

I filed on 1/11/16 and got accepted on 1/14/16. I had 1 bar on the 19th and then on the 20th it disappeared and it gave me this message:

Your tax return is still being processed.

A refund date will be provided when available.

I called the IRS and they said that there was something very minor that they had to correct but that nothing was majorly wrong. So I am crossing my fingers that my bars return in about 5 days at the most. Another thing is that I called them to have my direct deposit stopped because my banking information was incorrect so maybe they are trying to stop the automated direct deposit and send me a paper check instead of them sending it to the bank process then mailing me a check.

Since it happened to me last year and I got my refund on the 29th I can’t say it means you’re under review. All I can do is go by experience. But I do believe we’ll see movement tomorrow.

Yes I e-filed 1/4/2016 refund was accepted by IRS 1/13/2016. Everything was fine had one bar, Wmr went down for a while the 19th when came back I had no bars on the 20th. So I called IRS twice and was told they saw no issues. Called the offset line no offsets I don’t know what’s going on… ?????

I am hoping and praying my bars DON’T vanish. Last year, they vanished and I was left in limbo until April. I was flagged by IPU and it took forever to verify and prove I was who I said I was. This year, the IRS gave me a PIN to use when filing, so I have my fingers crossed. Filed 1/11/16, Accepted 1/18/16, currently have one bar. I hope I have bar movement over the weekend. Mine disappeared last year and I was under review. Got accepted on Jan 16th and got dd 3-25-2015.
