Disappearing Bars

Does this mean I should expect a DDD soon? Or is this meaning less. My bars just disappeared this morning and I was accepted on 1/14.

I was filed and accepted on 2/5/16 as of a few days ago my one bar disappeared and says now your return is being processed and a date will be provided when available Am I fixing to get approved and get a date

Yes ! Finally got a DDD of 2/10 after being able to order transcripts yesterday.
Filed 1/11
Accepted 1/14
Ordered account transcript 1/29
Lost bar 1/30 didn’t come back until 2/6
Ordered return transcript 2/5
Got DDD 2/6

I think these “disappearing bars” is the IRS’s way to catch up so I that they don’t have to have them done within 21 days. There were a TON of us who lost ours on the 29/30th. Once the system shut down, things started to pick back up. It may be true that some are being reviewed, but for a large amount of people to disappear all at once, I tend to think that it is a catch up period. Hang in there, I know how it feels !!!

Same here! No bars, no tax topic, still can’t order return transcripts don’t know if this is a good or bad thing.

ok so I guess im not the only one , woke up this morning , return was accepted on the 21st and bars and tax topic disappeared this morning , don’t have any offsets to either social on the return

On another thread someone stated their bars went missing they called and found out they had been pulled for review and wouldn’t be expecting their return til the end of February

Filed and Accepted on 1/26, Bars Disappear on the 29th, no updates at all.

I was accepted on the 14th. But they did not start processing until the 19th for everyone that’s wen tax season started..

I woke up this morning with no bars but still have Tax Topic 152. I filed on 1/27 and was accepted the same day.

A lot of other threads with people accepted on the 14th having bars disapear. If you read the IRS FAQ it says it’s because your being many reviewed however if that is the case then thousands are being manually reviewed and there is no way that is the case. Also you should have received a letter from the IRS or atleast had a different code than 152

Does everyone with no bars still have tax topic? Mine went on Saturday morning and still haven’t come back with no tax topic.

Filed and accapted on 1/14 snd woke up this morning to no bars and still cant order transcripts. No offsets 1040ez. Hopefully it will update tomorrow.

Lots of us that were accepted on 1/12 are in the same boat. It’s like almost all the early, early filers are having the disappearing bars.

I was accepted on 1/14 still can’t order return transcripts and woke up to my bars disappearing and tax topic 152. I’m thinking since 21 days is up on feb 4 that they can’t guarantee it in 21 days anymore so the message changed. I see a lot of 1/14 filers losing bars and we all can’t be under review.

I’m not sure how soon they change topics on wmr if you are under review.

Mine disappeared this morning too and I’m a 1/14 filer. A few other 1/14 filers have said the same thing this morning. I’m going to go on the positive side and say they must finally be processing 1/14 returns.

It means that for some people, for others, who knows?
I’ve had the missing bars since the 27th and i filed and was accepted the 25th
