Different account number?

      I have the HR Block emerald card and when I was filing my taxes online it prefilled the information about my card. I just had to verify my last 3 digits on tha back. Upon checking my current taxes with previous taxes filed I noticed my account number is different. The 1st number is different. Does anyone know why or had this happen before?

          I had a similar problem last year, but with a Walmart Money Card. I’ve had the same account for years, but they’ve changed Banks a few times, which changes the routing numbers.

          The IRS deposited it. The bank still took it. It did delay by one day. I was panicked because I thought I was going to have to wait on a paper check, ugh.

          Hopefully, if the bank realizes that the account belongs to you, and that you’re still a customer just with a new account number they will be able to rectify the problem there and not have to send it back to the IRS.
