Just curious since people were throwing of the 13th & 14 as days that WMR will update. Mine hasn’t as of 5:06 am today. I will check again tomorrow, and if not then I’ll wait until Friday or Saturday.

I still haven’t received my Refund and I filed and was accepted 2/2/2019. First I received a
ID Verification letter on 3/2/2019, and was told I’d see an update in 4 to 5 weeks afterwards and still nothing . Ok fast forward to 4/2/2019, which was the day I received the 60 Day review letter…… You all can only imagine how frustrated, angry 😠 and PISSED off I am now. Smfh

I received a letter yesterday to verify I called and verified this morning. I spoke with a guy and he was very patient and nice, I completed the verification process successfully, he told me to wait 9 weeks but it should only take a FEW weeks to actually get the refund. he also said that WMR should update in a week and a half and it should have the DDD. I didn’t think I’d have any problems this year after last year I received a letter not for verification just saying that my refund needed additional processing time I didn’t think I was going to receive my return last year but I did it was MAy, 9th 2018 when I received it but I filed on February 9th, 2018. this was just a little info to update anyone who needs it. Don’t give up you will get your money even if it takes longer than you expected it’ll come. Don’t hesitate to call them if you feel the need but just go with the information they give you they are not lying anything they tell you about your refund is accurate.

Filed with HR Block and accepted on 2/06/2019. I have child tax credits and just checked my transcripts. It says 846 code refund issued 2/22 however the processed date on my transcripts say 2/25. That WMR never gave me any bars since day one. It started with that code 152 and stayed that way until this morning it changed to we are processing your refund

Have been able to see my transcript since 2/9, said no return filed everyday until today. Now it’s completely filled with 846 and DDD 2/22!

Maybe I can help a few people with this post. I filed on 2/11/19 so last Monday and was accepted by the irs that night. I checked Tuesday morning and had 1 bar. Oh I do get the eic and child credit. My bars disappeared on Thurs morning so I ordered my transcripts online and was able to look on my account transcript and see my refund amount represented by a negative sign in front of my expected amount as well as the codes 150, 766, and 768 as well as 1 more code but not the 846 code which represents the refund being issued. Yesterday was the same thing. This morning I checked wmr and bars were still gone as well as the path act message which was there before. Then I looked at my transcripts again and I have the code 846 on there for the refund issuance. I just wanted to share with people that and to say that it is not bad to lose bars. Check and see if you can order your transcripts and find the 846 code on it or if your codes are different from the ones I have posted here. Good luck. My code 846 states my refund will be direct deposited into my account on 2/22/19

I could order transcripts on the 28th too and did via mail.
Last year this very same thing happened and I was freaking out about it and all the while I had my deposit from the irs on my rushcard and didn’t even know it. I just remember hearing from everyone that it wouldn’t be until end of February.
Then I randomly checked it one day and had my money.
This is a good sign people!!! We will be getting our DDD AND DD SOON!!! :)

I filed on 1/28 accepted on the same day. I submitted my w2 with my daughter and college credit, and today I checked at 12:01 and I had my bars. I just checked after trying to get my transcripts but failed the phone verification; I now have no bars with the message stating they received my return and it is being processed. A refund date will be provided when available. It still shows the tax topic 152 with all my info on the left including the amount. Last year I got my refund on the 23rd, so hopefully, it’ll be soon.

Mines says processing now also. I think we will get good news soon. And I also believe we will get DD before the 27th as last year my date was 2/20 and wmr said if I didn’t receive my refund by the 27th to call irs. So I believe that the extended time is stated to eliminate a flood of calls if banks are slow to process DD.

No ones tax returns are the same so to measure timing against someone else’s I would think would be an accurate way to tell. If hers updated that quickly then it must have had less required of the system to process it maybe? Or her IRS agent was faster, etc.

Exactly though…who knows. That’s why I say maybe, might, etc. they are generalizations.

I definitely don’t claim to work for the IRS or know their processes. I can simply make a somewhat educated statement based on my experience and what others post and what little info is actually available online.

So now it’s early Saturday morning and we wait 👍

Absolutely. I tend to believe that if your return is processed and just waiting to release the DD then you see the PATH message. I think those that don’t have it might not be as far along in the processing and won’t see it especially after the 15th has passed because then they just start releasing them with DDD when they are finished processing.

I do think that someone could have the path message and someone who is a little further behind who doesn’t have it could finish at the same time though with the same DDD depending on how the system pushes everyone through before the cutoff

NOT all the PATH folks will even see the path message some will and some will strictly see the one bar being processed with tax topic 152 at bottom the whole time. It does not mean any difference I have NEVER seen the path message and my cousin seen it 2/3 years. We both get our refunds the same day generally

you can ALWAYS order you transcripts it will ALWAYS show current year as an option and Tell you a request has been recieved wait 8/10 days etc
HOWEVER
They will mail you a blank transcript if they are not completed yet.
WITH THAT BEING SAID
IF you can view the current year ONLINE and all the amounts and info are filled in yes it’s a GREAT SIGN

The 152 path message is standard from the start.. once they pull your file you will update to the long form path message and refund at will disappear… those messages will be getting ddd when the next batch goes out… hopefully…

PATH message pretty much means your refund is good to go and just waiting for them to release it. The should start releasing Friday but due to Presidents’ Day I’d expect it to be hitting accounts next week.

Probably a stupid question (I’m new here!) but I’ll ask anyways since most of y’all seem like nice people :)
I went to the PATH message over a week ago but never paid much attention to it until today… On the side where it has all of my filing info everything is still the same as it was when I was at 1 bar (before updating to the PATH message) except my refund amount is gone. It only shows SSN, filing status, and tax season. Is that normal for your refund amount to disappear when you go to the PATH message?

@Theresa it’s like that every year. I know people who filed same day as me and opted for a paper check. They got it on Monday. I’m a PATHer though. But I notice every year the people who file earlier than opening is delayed for one reason or another.

This is crazy but it seems like if you waited to file after the IRS opened on the 28th you get your taxes before the people that filled early. My daughter got her refund this Tuesday she filed 1/30. I filed on the 16th it was accepted on the 23. Been on path since then. Called the IRS she said I have no flags and should see something on Friday. Just food for thought. So crazy. Oh we both have EIC on our returns

I was a weekly last year so I am assuming I am again this year
