Deposit before 846 code on transcript last year

Just curious. Did anybody receive your deposit before you had an 846 on your transcripts last year? If so, when was your deposit in?

Yes – rec’d my deposit 2-15 last year. NO transcript or WMR until after I rec’d it and i checked every day.

Previous year got my refund in 8 days – no transcript or WMR until way afterward

We had a $99 refund for 2017 so I didn’t even pay attention last year, haha. Bucket of water for the five alarm fire, ya know? We had a baby and an interstate move in 2018, so I’m paying attention again.

In 2017 for tax year 2016, we had a huge delay because the healthcare company sent mismatched 1095A’s to us and the IRS, and we didn’t get a deposit until March 29th after faxing forms and phone calls and tons of extra stress. We had updated transcripts before our deposit, but we didn’t have a bank that advances an ACH before it’s complete like some of those card services do. So, WMR and transcripts were updated before DD and the date was accurate.

Every single year before that, I have always had a WMR update before the DD hit and the DDD has always been accurate. That’s filing online all the way back to 2005.

Did you receive your refund through a bank or PayPal, bluebird, NetSpend etc?

I did. My refund hit 2/21 last year and my 846 refund issue date is listed as 2/23

following this thread. I’m wondering the same thing and also wondering if weeklies have the 846 and just cant see it due to our transcripts only updating for us on Fridays
