I called HR today, because my car has been broke down for a month now at the dealership. On IRS they said by 2/24 with latest being 3/1. I haven’t seen any movement on HR other than accepted the day I filed 2/7. They said there is a hold and I won’t see my money until 3/1. I had fees taken out and credits. Depositing into a traditional bank that won’t show a pending deposit. Has anyone had a similar experience? I was really hoping for tonight 😅

I just tried to login to my HR Block and an Emerald Card account. It wouldn’t let me so I tried to call my Emerald Card. The automated recording said they’re having technical difficulties and to try back in a couple of hours. In past experience this normally means that everything is updating and once it’s done your refund is normally there. So @Brandon can quit trolling and trying to get everyone in an up roar. I have used hr Block and emerald card for 8 years.

Did you have fees come out though? That changes the whole thing if so. Also I know they advertise up to. Which are key words up to. Five days early usually about 2-3 early. If fees come out goes metabank first so slows process down.

I’m not seeing nearly as many getting early deposits. Seen some get day early which I think good chance we get tonight. Really though only ones seen get early are ones who pay fees upfront. Some h&r block have got refunds but didn’t have fees and used direct deposit. What I will do next year just because I trust my bank more and can personally go in and yell if I don’t get on time.

So my only real complaint so far about h&r block. I paid $354 have taxes done and they can’t even keep their tracker updated. Just checked it still says my state was accepted. I got return from state on the 11th. For federal I have had it’s complete and it’s is preparing refund for a week now. Just isn’t accurate. One would think the amount we pay them they could come up with tracker.

If you check in the irs website rather then the app, on the left it’ll show direct deposit for 2/24. I believe it tells everyone if they don’t receive it by a certain date to call.

Accepted 1/21 That’s 32 days for block and irs to make this happen. Over a month. When I owe money to someone over a month I pay a late fee interest and 40 calls a day. Tic toc tic tock. So learned something interesting but can’t copy paste. Too long. I just assumed irs sent money last week for my refund this week. Way it works they sent notice(not money) the money doesn’t hit bank till 1-3days till your deposit date. Some banks take the notice as a promise and release the funds even earlier such as varo,chime…. However alot traditional banks don’t want to gamble like that and won’t realease funds till they get.

I agree a lot of people were dealt a bad hand over the last 2 years. Which seems so much longer than just two years. I’m sure people will start seeing deposits this evening and tomorrow. One year I received my deposit around 9 the night of presidents day. I’ve also received it 2 days early on my emerald card. 1 day early to be honest it’s never been late or even on the day.

I use serve every year and each year ( with the exception of this year) my Day always falls on Wed for deposit most years I would have it that Friday night but sometimes I would have to wait for treasury to open back up and then. I would get it that Sunday night. With that being said it’s possible they didn’t receive your refund notification before the cut off and now there’s a holiday so it should post Monday evening when treasury starts processing again at 8pm

Everyone on this site needs the money or they wouldn’t be on it. Also know 4 people with Jackson Hewitt ddd 2/24 have there refund. Doesn’t really matter or right not complaining just stating a fact. And every bank uses money on interest that’s true way the banks work.

I have always gotten my money from H&R a little early even if just by one day. And all Jackson Hewitt have not received funds. My sister and I have the same date 2/24 and she has not received any thing from Jackson Hewitt yet. I however have been a faithful H&R block customer for years. Hang tight it’s coming. Many still waiting for last year taxes

Here comes the “they’re holding our money for the interest” or “we should sue them” I’m sure all of us will have our deposits the 22nd or 23rd. If it’s the 24th oh well. Is it really that big of a deal? A lot of people have no idea when they’ll get a refund. Some people have to pay in. I’d love to have mine today but I’m not going to lose sleep over it or keep posting the same questions over and over.
