DDD for PATHERS!!!

No actually I filed 2/1 accepted 2/1 transcripts updated and I’m on path I have everything except the 846. Nobody on path is getting money right now, Friday Saturday at the earliest. If your not on path then yes people are updating to 2/19 deposit dates. These are the facts of what is happening today. If you did update to a 2/27 then the irs fucked you hard because they skipped a shit ton of days from the the 19th to the 27th 👍

@xenka you will see a ddd on wmr after on the morn of the 13th or 14th. they wont even release to you the ddd till then, unless you were in the test batch. you will see message 152 till then, which essentially means youve been processed and are fine and ok. just waiting to get past a certain date. any other message with a # is a issue with return.

i agree with u guys, i think the irs is just using the 27th as a cushion… Systems will update on the 14th/15th and the rest is history!

Interesting about what constitutes “mid-February.” I’m not sure if the official wording actually says a date, I think it just says mid February. And in years past, I’ve always seen it say “after February 15th.” This year, it’s been a little more vague about an actual date, with a lot of people still saying the 15th, but I’ve seen a few posts saying the 14th… I’m trying not to get my hopes up, but the 14th would make sense this year because the pattern for years past has been:
Holds release the 15th
Transcripts update the 16th with the 846
WMR shows DDD’s showing the following Thursday

It makes sense that they would push it through this year on the 14th because of a) the looming uncertainty of government shutdown and b) the 15th is a Friday before a 3-day holiday weekend.

So everyone let’s keep our fingers crossed… pray, light a candle, whatever you do, get that positive vibe going!!

I looked at my transcripts for the last 3 years, I have noticed a pattern. Now, keep in mind that mid February is an arguable date, technically, given that there are only 28 days in Feb, it would be the 14th. That being said, my processing dates are always on a Monday, I have always gotten my refund the Thursday before. This year, my processing date is 2/18, I know, I know, it’s a holiday. Given historical anecdotal evidence, it is very possible that refunds will start dropping on Thursday 2/14. I am by no means an expert, I understand the PATH law, and I look at all of this to amuse myself and to keep me occupied while I wait. I’m curious by nature, so I’m finding all of this interesting because a perfect storm is brewing for everyone to have their minds blown by weird things happening.
