DDD 3/2. Where's my money? Need early deposit!!

Ddd 3/2. Accepted 2/18 w Hnr block emerald fees coming out. When I call emerald and speak to accounting department they see the $$ pending which I thought meant I would have it tomorrow but he’s telling me they don’t release funds until the date it’s gives them which is the ddd. Kinda dumb they would hold the $ if they know the amount and IRS APPROVED IT LAST FRIDAY. Why hold it till Wed? Wtf. Agitated and impatient. Anyone in similar situation please let this sexy black mofo know if ur sexy white black Puerto Rican Asian ass gets it early and don’t be throwing that net spend shit in my face I have the card but didn’t use it :(.

So I’m pullin a all nighter…I got that message on emerald card too. I been looking at comments from the past of people w ddd on 2/10 to see when they updated and it looks like the earliest I seen on east coast time was around 2:15am, but my man didn’t get his till 3am. Wish they would just send it at 12. Anyone know what time zone they are based out of. If it’s midnight west coast time then imma be up till 3!!! Smh…

Filed with TaxACT Republic Bank has sent my refund as of this morning but I haven’t received any deposit yet I was hoping to see it today instead of 3/2 few people said that there money hit in the afternoon the day before ddd so I will check back in if I do *_*

I figured I would respond since you described me so well….Puerto Rican!!!!

Yeah, Emerald Card holds out until the ddd because they CAN. They don’t have too they could have probably posted it to your account days ago. A few people with 3/2 ddd received on last Friday. The IRS sends out refunds days before the ddd.

They hold it to earn interest off the money. You would be surprised how much interest they earn by just holding it an extra day.

Note* I have Netspend too and catch myself wishing I used them as well. Then I remember when I did use them 2 years ago and why I did not use them now…..As soon as my 6k hit the card they froze my account and made me answer crazy questions to get it unlocked. I understand security and all but I wasn’t a new cardholder. They should have had me verify myself beforehand. I barely passed their questions and many people fail because they ask you about old phone numbers and stuff you might not remember. You may have dodged a bullet by waiting the extra day.

I am having my refund put on amex bluebird card and I am having fees taken out through Santa Barbara first. If I would have known how crazy this tax year would be ( I filed back in jan) I would have paid fees upfront and put refund in my regular bank acct. Bluebird advertising 2 day sooner, but from what I hear its not true.

I am super thankful to have made it to this point. As soon as I see something with sbgt I will feel so ????.
