I’m wondering if I will get my offset refunded. I know the executive order only has it go back to 3/13/20 but man I was only getting $775 and the paper sent to me saying where my money went was dated the 10th!! I’m so upset. Any ideas if you guys think I will get it back?! Plz and thank you

WMR full bars since 3/11 stating sent to bank. Played the waiting game and saw nothing and wondered what was going on. I finally got some closure though. My refund was offset. Thought it was pretty strange that i got full bars and refund sent to bank. Normally an offset happens to me during second bar in WMR. Anywho just wanted to update yall and hopefully this doesnt happen to you guys.

I agree I’m more upset that they lied. If you didn’t send it don’t say you sent it. That’s like a bad tenant, oh yeah I “sent” the check. So when are they really going to send it? And will we get them at the same time?

This just reminds me of throwing a fake toss to have someone looking in the opposite direction, while in the other direction the real truth is going on. If they sent the money it should show up. What they didn’t expect was for all these people to come together and compare stories.

Think about it when was the last time you seen an electronic transfer take this long? The bank should see them at least. I would report it because you don’t know if it could be some fraud going on behind the scenes. TIGTA can at least look into it. You can file a complaint on their website or over the phone with a special agent. They will give you a case number.

I would report a pattern of misrepresented deposit dates to the Treasury Inspector General For Tax Administration https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report.shtml this might be a matter of fraud, waste, mismanagement, and abuse in the IRS programs and operations. Other people are reporting inconsistency with how payments were agreed to be sent and how they got sent without notice.

I wonder when did people before us finally receive their deposits with DDD of 3/4 & 2/26. I checked their forum and most were just like us waiting for a couple of days. I have a credit union so giving it time.

Remember guys, the IRS says refunds can take anywhere from 2-6 days. It seems like they’re backed up on everything including sending refunds. In other words, if they give you a DD date, it doesn’t mean they’ll necessarily send it on that day.

Its 9:37pm california here. Still nothing from refund scheduled 3-11-2020. SBTPG which does the deposits from Turbo tax..says nothing has been received. WMR says refund sent 3-11-2020. Tax transcript says DDD 3-11-2020. Unreal how long this year is taking. I checked my taxs to make sure everything was accurate with banking through chase and still nothing. This is the process:

IRS Releases Refunds –>US Treasury Releases in Batches–> Your Bank & Tax Preparers Bank (if you had fees)

It’s that middleman that is slowing things down.

Its 11:15 california. Using chase bank. Went through turbo tax and SBTP site says they haven’t received the funds yet. But WMR site says paying today along with my transcripts.. offsets already paid out as well today…what’s the hold up!! Any feed back?

I actually think it is the US Treasury that is behind in batching out the refunds since places like chime/varo/netspend and credit unions etc do not hold funds. I think that is why there seems to be a bunch at a time then nothing then a bunch at a time then nothing all through the days before and on the deposit dates. They must be backlogged

Using prepaid is not always the issue. I filed single on 1/27 and accepted same day. I had to do ID verification two weeks ago. Checked WMR Monday and had a DDD for 3/11. I use Navy Federal Credit Union and still don’t have mine nor is it pending.

Filed and accepted 2/23 approved 2/28 for DDD of 3/11. I also filed EITC/CCC. SBTPG Received money 3/10 and paid fees ~12am. Navy Federal did not show a DD pending, but I received a deposit 3/11 at exactly 12am. So one TPG pays the fees, the money should be there no later than the DDD. If your bank shows pending call the bank to release the funds. Til next tax season. 💋✌🏽

SBTPG is a website where you can check your status to see if THE IRS has sent over the fee you paid/refund to you’re bank or card that you had your deposit too. I’m not sure about it if you asked to get it the mail.

I just talked to SBTPG and for those that have a 3/11 DDD and the SBTPG site has fees taken out they have sent the $ to your card and made the payment to you but the $ takes up to 24hrs to load so at any moment it could load so just keep checking throughout the day today?? This is why all these people are getting theirs at random times?

Haha.. I filed 2/1 irs and state both accepted same day. Taxs were not reviewed until the 24th. I called and had to speak with an agent on my own accord. They verified information. Then I get the DDD of 3.11.2020. Full refund. Then we didnt see any movement for 1 week straight. Then offsets kicked in for same day of 3.11.2020. So IRS states 21 days..its been well over a month since we filed and accepted. Two weeks it sat there and no one looked at them until the 24th.. unreal!!

I thought I put it in my credit union, I would have had it by now haha. But I used my US Bank acct instead so I doubt I will get it early. I will get it right on the 11th. 😒 At least it’s coming and don’t have to wait for it anymore. I paid fee in advance so no third party bank.

Able (@warstorie), that’s what’s up! Did you claim any credits? I filed nearly four weeks before you (2/4), and our DDD is the same. I’m a wee bit jealous.

Admittedly, though, considering that I didn’t file for 3 years and now reside in a different state, it’s reasonable that the IRS would make me IDV — I just wish they’d sent the letter much sooner.

Next year, if I’m in line to get the EITC, I won’t file UNTIL 2/15, if not a day or so later.

Yeah I know we have for sure put in a good wait. Filed 1/30. But you know I’m just happy we are at this point. I see alot of ppl who still havent updated who filed in January. Just think of what another week would be like if we didnt update today.I imagine that every week it becomes harder and more un certain. I feel for everyone and hope its works out over the next couple weeks for them

Went to being processed February 15 stayed there till overnight! Ddd 3/11/2020! Finally got it took a long time. Good luck to everyone!

Ok so my mom filed 2/24 I efiled it for her using free edition hrb. She never updated on wmr. Well she got a surprise deposit today. Now we just checked wmr and her ddd finally updated to 3/11. So she got it 5 days early! She uses NetSpend ..

Most banks will release your funds that day, however they all say it could take up to 5 days.
