      Got a wmr update of 2/19 today finally!

          I used Turbotax with the refund to be deposited on a Netspend card, had a 2/19 DD with no deposit made, checked my tax return and there were 4 additional numbers added to the Direct Deposit acct.# for Netspend, I called Netspend and there was no deposit made or rejected, contacted Turbotax and they could not explain how those numbers were added onto my return or why. The Irs won’t let me talk to a live person until 2/24, has anyone encountered this before and if not is there anything I can do to find out where my refund is?? This has been a nightmare!! I will never use Netspend or Turbotax again!! Thanks for any ideas!

              Osubucki1613 – DDD’s are usually accurate and on time. I think what might have happened was the IRS detected that your fiancé’s name is not on your bank account. Even though your bank says they won’t reject it. I’ve seen a lot of refunds get switched to paper check if the name is not on the bank account. Maybe this is the reason why your bank is not even seeing it. WMR takes awhile to update this to say that a paper check was issued. Hope this helps. Good luck.

                I keep seeing posts about people being weekly based on the cycle#. I’m not sure what that means? If I had a DDD for today and nothing is there how are you supposed to know when you’ll actually see the refund hit your account? I filed the federal myself so I didn’t pay any fee’s. This is so confusing

                          I filed my taxes for my Fiance using TurboTax. Used my checking account info for direct deposit bc he likes using pre-pay debits so he doesn’t overdraw. Had a DDD of 2/19. Checked my account this morning (2/19) and nothing was there (10:00am EST) Called my bank Huntington and asked if they showed a pending deposit or any rejections on my account, was told NO. Then I asked if for any reason would his refund be rejected by Huntington bc I’m the account holder. Bank manager told me no, that some banks won’t accept DD if the names are different but Huntington isn’t one of them. She also told me that the IRS doesn’t verify who the routing and account# belong to before they send the DD. Then checked his transcripts and the code 846 is listed. Not sure what’s going on. Keeping fingers crossed that it’s in my account tomorrow.

                              so your gf will have 2 wait until she teceives yet another update on her transcripts with TC 971 letting her know that her refund was rejected by the bank. It usually takes them 2 days to reprocess and resend a refund via mail…others have reported 3-4 days transit time from day sent to receipt on their end.

                                                    I’m posting on my wonderful girlfriends behalf. She is a fellow 2/19DDD. It seems today it appears she has entered the wrong account number for her DD. I do know that the IRS just sends a check in the mail if the DD doesn’t go through.

                                                    So my question is has anyone else had this silly mistake occur as well? And if so how long did it actually take to get your refund check in the mail?

                                                                      SBBT has said “sent” all day, even called my credit union about 430 to see why it didn’t say pending. She said if it wasn’t pending today it wouldn’t be there tomorrow.

                                                                      An hour later, it was pending on my credit unions site, to be clear tomorrow morning.

                                                                      WMR still says approved, nothing about it being sent.

                                                                          People be patient. Your DD will post between 2am and 6am. That’s only a few hours away. You’ve waited all this time I’m pretty sure a few hours will not kill you! Be blessed and spend wisely.

                                                                                    I filed 2/4, DDD 2/19. I have bank of America. Still nothing, not even anything pending to my account. I got my state yesterday in the mail. Its never taken this long. I’ve called the 1-800 number to HR block and it says my balance is 0 but I csllec the HR block office Monday and they said its in thier bank. ??? Will my bank show pending or will it just appear??

                                                                                            DDD of 2/19. Just checked republic bank (I did my taxes with TaxAct) and they received my federal refund 2/18 and they said they have sent it to my bank for direct deposit. My bank still hasn’t updated yet.

                                                                                                                  I have a DD for 2/19 as well and Im impatiently waiting like everyone else. I opted for my refund to go onto the TT Netspend card for the first time. I have gone to several sites where I am seeing tons of complaints as recent as 2/16 that within a couple transactions or days, Netspend is locking accounts and requesting people to send in utility bills, ss card and dl copies via fax to verify their identity. In doing so, the customer service reps are rude and disconnecting phone calls and claiming to have not received any paperwork even though its been faxed several times. Then when they finally “say” they got it, they still will not release the lock for days and even up to 2 weeks after many more phone calls!! I am terrified to use my card after I get my DD. I dont want to get stuck waiting again for my money with this mock IRS card company. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them with netspend? Im stressin out AGAIN!

                                                                                                                      My DDD is 2/19 still nothing. Used efile.com and having funds deposited to higher one card. I usually get funds a day b4 DDD! So hopefully tomorrow. Also I got that 971 notice sent code along with the 846 refund sent. What could the 971 could be? And I had to turn in form 8862. Idk how imma be able to go to sleep tonight.

I called Sbbt earlier and was told some 1-2 business day bs for it to show. She ‘explained’ the way direct deposits worked and honestly couldn’t gave been more wrong. What’s sad it there customer service people have NO Idea what’s going on and make up bs.

                                                                                                                                    I’m sooo not doing my taxes with TurboTax next year to avoid SBBT and TurboTax is crap anyway!

I’m patiently waiting by the computer! This is the FIRST year I’ve received a DDD without an audit so I’m ecstatic! LOL. Still nervous…. Just waiting…. Active BB&T acct and the refund is not over 5k so I have high hopes.

                                                                                                                                                          After contacting netspend several times to make sure we can deposit the refund in there, (haven’t used the card in six months, but have had my refund deposited in the same account for three years)they closed the account Friday morning and it came Friday afternoon.

                                                                                                                                                                          I got my DDD of 2/19 this morning and I woke my toddler up doing a happy dance. My friend got his refund deposited yesterday and his dad was 2/17, fingers crossed for it to come early. But I’m just happy that I have a ddd now.

So excited and relieved! I can’t believe we actually are getting our refund within the 21 days! Last year, we had to wait about 6 weeks and I was worried that we were going to be in for that kind of wait again this year, so I was ecstatic when I checked WMR last night/this morning and saw we had had been approved with a DD of 2/19!
