If you had a deposit date for 2/24 and have SBTPG fees check in when you get an update! Especially if you bank with chime! I can see that they DO work weekends on their website so fingers crossed for overnight or tomorrow!
Never doing fees again….

Go thru the motions and after you’ve “listened” to your recent funding or whatever and it asks you to select 1 to go back to the main menu or two to speak to a live rep. PRESS 2.Unfortunately, it literally just hangs up on me after it gives some generic message about finding

Just realize guys, the banks have us by the short hairs. We MUST wait til the 24th before we see a dime. I been doing my taxes the same since 2013 and its never been early except 1 time in 2015 in the test batch. The bank (SBTGP) earns interest. They wont release anything til the exact day, not a minute before. I do not recommend turbo tax. They are expensive and the customer service is shoddy. I switched this year finally and cut my fees in half. I wish I had better news on refunds etc.

@luvhippie and while SBTPG was open over the weekend they were not processing anything. Zip zilch nada. They opened back up at 6am PST. Or 8am EST.

How did you speak to a live person at SBTPG?
I spoke to a TT manager and they said that TPG was open over holiday wknd, but their systems didn’t do updates and wouldn’t until today as it’s a business day.
my transcripts showed $0 as of Fri which means my refund was sent. TT updated Sat to show fees taken out. TT manager also said if the extra $40 fee TPG shows wasn’t refunded after the site updates that I just call TT and they’ll refund it right away. -
youll see it in your chime acct between 5pm and 2am.
I just called SBTPG and I have a ddd of 2/24. The lady stated that my fees are due to be processed on the 23rd and my refund will have an “effective date” of 2/24 which is my ddd. So we are not, I repeat are not getting our refund early.

2:55 am here and nothing yet. Bank with chime and having to deal with SBTPG for fees. Anyone have a clue when we might see it

I had my fees taken out this morning but no change on the sbtpg site ..still says unfunded and no deposit either….
How did you find out your fees have been taken out? My sbtpg hasn’t updated at all, turbotax hasnt updated either to even that my return was approved yet irs has me with ddd of 2/24

We are all in the same boat and I doubt we won’t see our money until the 24th/25th. They probably won’t even send the $ to Chime until the 24th knowing them. But hopefully ur right.
They said as soon as they process fees they send the money to my bank. So I feel like I may see it tomorrow. But who knows. If not, it’ll be here Thursday, which coincidentally is payday as well for me so I’m not made either way.

I think their system is behind, and purposefully gives their employees information a day later. Just my theory. Prepaid cards should receive tomorrow I’m thinking.

@ winnermade The traditional bank won’t release your funds until the 24th and if you bank with any prepaid cards like Varo, rush card or any of those banks they don’t hold your money. They put it right in the account as soon as they receive the funds. I think that’s what he was meaning to say.

Well my main question would be.. If they send the payment right after they take fees out why would it take until the 24th or after to get our money? Just doesn’t make sense to me.

He said I was done processing. He said it should be in the bank on or after the 24th. He didn’t really give me a time frame of when they start taking out their fees. I can call and ask more questions if you want me too. -

So they won’t take out the fees until 2/24 seems like. My SBTPG still says unfunded I assume everyone else’s says the same. If they follow what they are saying they should be taking our fees out tonight/tomorrow and sending us our $.

I have a DD of the 24th Hoping to see it tomorrow but now reading all this SBTPG horror stories has me thinking maybe not but my bank does advertise they teamed up with turbo tax this year to get taxes 2 days early so we shall see
2 days early if you paid upfront and your DD wasn’t sent to SBTPG I’m assuming.

TT is terrible. Expensive. I stopped using them this year finally. Yes, they indeed are teamed up with them. TT gets their fees long before we get our $. Which is why I made the switch this year.

I think its possible we will see the infamous red circle on the SBTPG sight later today or in the morning. That said, My experience has always been they NEVER release my refund until that exact day on the transcripts. I bank with a Credit Union so they have never released my refund before the exact day listed.

So I was told yesterday that they had my refund. They said they had it since Friday. So I call today and I get this lady. Not only is she talking to me on speaker but she tells me they have not received my refund. I said I was told yesterday that my refund was there. So my thing is where the freak did my money go. So now I’m on hold again because she put me on hold and hung up on me. So I called back. But now I’m about to go off.

When you call press four and then up in a fake 6 digit and wait than press 1 it’s correct and than press 2 and than wait. It will automatically send you to a rep -

We are all in the same boat and I doubt we won’t see our money until the 24th/25th. They probably won’t even send the $ to Chime until the 24th knowing them. But hopefully ur right.

Accepted sometime between then and the 12th, wmr updated the 19th with a ddd of 2/24, bank with chimeThey have received my refund and they said it’s due to go out the 24th. When I talked to the SBSTPG rep earlier she even gave me my updated balance for my return. So they obviously got my pre notification. Which I thought they said as soon as they receive that they will process returns lol such nonsense

Just got off the phone with this crappy SBSTPG. She stated I will have the funds anywhere from 2/24-3/1 just fking amazing!

I was able to call SBSTPG and chose an option for tax preparer and I entered a random tracking number and my own SS# It connects you to agents. I chose to have someone call me back I will see if they do so.

Filed TT, DDD 2/24, no funding on SBTPG yet, using CashApp for deposit…I don’t expect to see my refund until Tuesday night unless SBTPG gets funded sometime over the weekend which I’m not counting on lol

Waiting on my refund for 2/24! I used TT and deposited to my Varo acct. Hoping Tuesday to see some movement, but seeing everyone’s comments abt issues with SBTPG this year, I don’t expect seeing it early! Idk why I didn’t pay up front, so mad at myself! Oh, well, fingers crossed!!!
