Happy for y’all but you know how many of us file on time and for no reason end up waiting sometimes months.I blows my mind seeing those who get their DD at this warp speed. There’s no genuine hate but it’s pretty damn frustrating seeing it when the rest of us deal with the same drawn out shit every year. I feel like this forum should be for people trying to figure out problems,cause what’s the point of “Everything went perfect for me as usual see you next year to say the same”?

Still NOTHING. Called SBTPG and they say my account is on hold for unusual activity. When I go to their website to try and update my information, they tell me they can’t find my SSN.
But I CAN use the taxpayer portal to find my refund using my SSN, so which one is it?

The only reason your refund is going through SBTPG is if you paid out of your refund.
Ive been playing this waiting game w/ turbotax since 2008! They have to take the money from your refund and that is how they do it.
If you don’t want it to go through SBTPG then you have to pay fees upfront -

I have always used TT, and since 2019 CHIME and it has ALWAYS come 1 day early at least…last year I got it 6 day earlier than my DDD. SBTPG is RIDICULOUS! There’s no reason the $ needs to go through there.

20+ yrs of tax refunds and I’ve never recieved day of or after deposit date always been atleast 1 day early!! lesson learned, won’t be using turbo tax anymore after a 15yr relationship I’ll have to tell them I’m breaking it off because I’m seeing someone else next January!!!

Filed with Turbo Tax on 1/31 with a $30 fee taken out of my refund. Approved on 2/2, and IRS website updated on 2/19 to say my DDD was 2/24/22.

Go kick rocks. You don’t understand how the banking system works. The company in questions promises refunds once they get notification from IRS. This year instead they held funds for days. They earn lots of interest each day they have the millions in refund money. Then they charge people to transfer it into the parent bank that owns them…so yeah class action worthy behavior this year….but your know it all sarcasm speaks volumes on your intelligence…..

I see free tax usa had the fees taken out of refund was advised it would take one additional day irs paid them the 18th and sbtpg just updated today saying they sent the money to my bank as of at least 4 hours ago when I checked it and my bank still hasn’t received the money. Sbtpg is a joke and definitely wasn’t worth it. I will rob Peter to pay Paul to make sure I never have to have fees taken out again.

Funny cause Greendot owns TPG as well… even the Greendot card people said if they had sent it to this particular card it would have updated into my account immediately. TPG didn’t send shite

Brandon, don’t get mad at H&R Block, you should know if you had fees taken out, just look at paperwork. Also if you have a traditional bank you will reciprocate refund on 2/24, no earlier. If u had fees taken out it will go thru sbtpg and u won’t have it until 2/24. Best way to get early is to pay any fees upfront and use a card that advertises early direct deposit (like netspend)

@anon lots of people get their refunds early. There Are many deciding factors, mainly if you had fees taken from refund and which bank / prepaid card. Just because u won’t have yours until tomorrow does not mean the other people who used H&R won’t most of the time the tax preparer u use has very little to do with when u receive your $. Only time that matters is if they filed something incorrectly, that happened to a ton of people 2 years ago who used TurboTax

@brandon stop harassing your local HR office, they are trained to enter your information in their software and that’s it. They are not obligated to know when peoples banks will deposit your funds. If your direct deposit date is 2/24 you shouldn’t be calling on 2/21-2/23 bothering anybody . I don’t understand why people think they are obligated to be paid earlier than their deposit date. Get mad tomorrow if you’re not paid

I finally was able to access SBTPG & they show my refund received, fees withheld, and remainder deposited to my credit union checking. My CU updates usually around noon so wish me luck! They typically don’t hold ACH deposits, so we shall see.

Traditional banking normally get it day of DD except if that day falls in a Monday.

DDD 02/24/2022 Used TurboTax and requested for refund to be DD to CKM account with fees being taken out. No pending transactions showing. Once my refund was accepted the status on TurboTax fees changed to payment complete, so I’m unsure if anything has been received. Will update once I received a DD.

Yes that’s how you tell. It wasn’t like that for me until Friday evening. So they took your fees out and your refund is ready to be sent to your bank or for a paper check to be printed, however you chose. We should have our money late tonight or sometime tomorrow 2/22/22 -

I have a DDD of 2/24 using TT & will be deposited to Credit Karma… my fees will be taken out of my return. SBTPG doesn’t show that they’ve received my return yet. 😒 assuming we will see a change tomorrow & maybe get our refund Wednesday… sucks that it’s being held up bc of the stupid fees. Not to mention I only expected it to be $39 & it ended up being almost $200! Never again.

how can you tell? i used liberty and i think they got mine because in the wallet section it shows fees paid to date and the amount is there and underneath it shows “direct deposit: pending” with my amount after fees and the source being IRS…Im just not sure if ive always seen that message. i really cant remember lol

Filed 2/9, accepted 2/10, transcript updated 2/17 w a ddd for 2/24. Liberty Tax app shows they got my refund & their fees at 6:30pm on 2/18 as of right now it’s still listed as pending on their app lol! So far no Chime deposit, I think because it was so late in the evening on Friday or cuz of the weekend and then today being a bank holiday. Pretty sure it’ll be late tonight into tomorrow 2/22 when we get it.

What does it mean if yu as is date of march 7,2022
The As Of date is simply the date your penalties and interest are calculated to if you have a balance. It’s calculated out to the future in case someone wants to mail their check in rather than pay online. It has absolutely nothing to do with your refund. If you have the 846 code at the bottom of your account transcript you’re good to go

DDD of 2/24 with 846 code. I used TurboTax and paid fees upfront. Bank with PNC and no deposit yet, does anyone know if they deposit early? Man I hope so

Everyone, please remember that even though its not a holiday for SBTG it is a banking holiday for all other banks in Monday. Even if your bank is opened, no processing can be completed with the federal reserve. If SBTG is saying they already have your funds for the 2/24 dd it is most likely the pre-notification from the IRS of your expected funds, otherwise they would have updated your profile to funded. Hope this helps.

Ok , so refund DDD 2/24. Turbo tax just updated my payment as complete within the last two hours , but SBTPG still hasn’t updated to show they received money , of course … go figure , right?! Never again dealing with SBTPG

I looked today on where’s my refund and I have a DDD of 2/24. Sbtg has not received my refund yet. They say on their website they are open on Weekends and this Monday the 22nd.

Sbtg is open on Monday it is not a holiday for them look on the website we will get out money on 2/22 or 2/23

Sbtg doesn’t fund on weekends or holidays. So if you opted to have funds pulled from your refund you won’t notice any movement until 2/22, earlier if you paid fees up front. The IRS sends sbtg a pre-notification 2 days early to let them know the money is on the way and they’ll start prepping us for deposit so they can have the refund hit us on time. Pending your bank you may see it same day or the following. Previously I’ve noticed sbtg updates to funded between 10am- 1pm.

Never had luck with Chase to process my deposit before the DDD. I bet they lick every dollar before and before releasing they rub it in their parts.

I also have H&R Block .( they usually post early regardless of advance or not ) I always get advance . Hopefully it hits tonight or tomorrow 🤞🏾 -
I never looked at a transcript but I filed and got accepted 1/24 and had path message and then two days ago it said received and processing and today I got DD with cahsapp but the deposit is pending however funds should be available soon my tax lady said wow that was fast! WMR still giving same received and processing message.

file with turbotax 1/24 accepted 1/24. wmr never has updated. transcript updated today to 846 for ddd 2-24-22. I did the credit karma money through turbotax when i filed and i am still waiting for a deposit.

just got off phone with metabank. the lady was very unhelpful and kinda rude. basically stated they dont send the funds to the banks till the DDD date and then there would be another delay for the bank to release it to us do to they way its sent.. i guess its time to boycott metabank and traditional banks. they make all their money on holding our money and charging random hidden fees

i wont be back to HR next year. they lied and said paying fee out of return wouldnt affect the return time frame.. but then i just got told 7-10 business days extra?

@Tas Yup, be prepared to wait till 2/24 to get the deposit unfortunately just because they’re not allowing any early deposits for situations like that for some reason.
Where are you hearing this? I heard no early deposit if you receive the refund advance, but not for people who paid fees out of return.

Just received mine! I’m in shock! Paid fees upfront, filed 1/14 accepted 1/19, resequenced 2/8. Transcripts updated today with 2/24 deposit. Turbo Tax and Netspend. Yay!

Navy usually deposits early after showing pending for a day so I am hoping it is available in the morning! -

I’m with credit karma still waiting. I have the 846 code for 2/24 with fees to be taken out. I should of paid fees upfront because it quicker for deposit. I did last year and got my money same day it was issued by the irs

My DDD is the 24th and I bank with netspend H-E-B, asked for my TT fees to be taken from the refund and no deposit yet. I’m expecting it should be there on the 22nd.

Filed 1/31 and transcripts updated today with DDD of 2/24. SBTG recognizes my information but has no deposit. Looks like it should be anywhere from now to next week then.

A payment plan unfortunately doesn’t stop them from collecting the balance off your tax refund. A payment plan only stops from any potential levy’s being placed in the event you default. Sorry -

Finally got into transcripts. 846 2/24 but they cut my return by $2500! I have been making monthly payment from a mistake in 2019 but they took the remaining balance from my return! Ugh!! I thought as long as you had a payment plan set up they wouldn’t do that!

Might consider changing the title. It makes it seem like people with a DDD of 2/24 have already got theirs. Might say HAS anybody w/DDD I know the subject line is a bit short and hard to type more than a ew words. Just an idea.

Is this for real? You’re telling me you guys already either have a DDD or have received your refund already? That seems like warp freaking speed for the IRS. Mine was accepted 1/24 and on the 21st day WMR went to “ww have received and are processing”….hope I get a freaking DDD soon.

Same here I have the 846 with a DD 2/24 I was greedy and got an Advance with H&R Block using the Emerald card so I’m curious when mine might post. When I did this in the past the deposit always come in a few days earlier than the date listed on WMR or the trancript. Anybody with a similar exp?
