No @miamigirl I didn’t receive it in my bank acct as of yet but republic bank who taxact uses sent text saying refund is sent..And when I check the site I can see irs deposited the money this morning. I’m ok not having it my hand right now, I’m just at ease that it left IRS hands.

@Trelesia I think that you are going to be able to order transcipts tmw or friday and get ddd the next day either weds or saturday but I think your ddd is on its way!

Used turbo tax and I already have a Netspend Card from Moneytree
so I some people saying that they got their $ faster a couple of days before the due date. Im just hoping I am one of the lucky ones! But now that its Monday as of now nothing…So As long as I get it on or before wedsnesday…but I would really like to see it tmw. but if not then on time….just any thing but late!

I’m with you! I just want to see the funds in my account already. I was accepted 01/19 too so I feel your pain. My TA just called and closed my case so I’m really hoping there aren’t any issues getting this money deposited in a timely manner. Smh!

Can you give us more info? Did you pay your fees upfront or is your money going through sbtpg? Also what kind of account do you have?

@John, do you bank with a normal bank or credit union. SBBT still has not received funding and normally with my credit union it is a day early.

If you have a DDD of 03/04 and haven’t gotten it yet you should maybe check with sbtpg and see if they’ve even received your money. Maybe they help your tax return for something. Don’t just sit around and wait! You gotta be proactive in these cases.

@miamigirl: so the ta told me I had to verify yet when I call iverify they said I didn’t have any on my account that she sees. So I’m like hell of confused. Yet she did tell me that yes I filed on the 19th but they didn’t accept my return till the 22nd.

Miami girl– I asked for direct deposit directly into my regular checking account. Which is with a credit union. They dont hold funds especially from a state or federal entity. So usually would be in my account a day or two before the actual ddd. But this year? who knows. I dont even have high expectations for an early deposit this year from all the things i’ve read. I got my state back within a week this year and it hit my account 2 days earlier than the deposit date.

I get it trust me. I would definitely call the IRS and have them fill out a hardship referral for you. Tell them that you got a job out of the country and will be leaving ASAP and need your funds. Hopefully that’ll work and this nightmare will be over for you as well. I’m still on pins and needles… Until I see my money in my account I’m not trusting anything they tell me. I’ve been filing for 20 years and have never had this crap happen. 2 months to get your money is just ridiculous.

@MIamigirl No, i haven’t talked to a TA at all I’ll call them tomorrow because this is straight bs because if it’s something wrong i wish they would just tell me. Besides just giving me the response of just saying WAIT YOUR 21 DAYS!! Like this is ridiculous how is that everybody that filed after me got theirs already. This is a shame yet my new tax preparer said she’s going to call them tomorrow to see if i have a date yet. I’m like something gots to give. Yet and still i was hoping to have my funds before leaving out the country cause I’ll be gone for months.

When I went online to ID verify it wouldn’t let me, but when I called, the lady told me I needed to and it was because I had ID theft in 2014. I had no idea BTW. I ended up getting a TA to help expedite my return because after I verified the lady told me it would be an additional 6-8 weeks. Have you tried calling a TA? Even if you don’t have a hardship, 9 out of 10 times they can at least give you some insight as to wth is going on with your return. I can tell you this… I filed 01/15 and was accepted 01/19. I’ve been to hell and back with these people. Even with the TA it took an additional 2 weeks. If you already have a ticket out of the country maybe you can tell the TA that you’re moving and need the funds ASAP. I know that reason worked for someone else on this forum.

@miamigirl it said I didn’t have to verify it wouldn’t let me do it. I filed February 18 was accepted technically and was accepted the 19th. The young lady who does my taxes said she’s calling the irs tomorrow and see what my date is because we did everything right. Yet I’m still on one bar status which is crazy. Everybody filed after me go there’s before me. I’m extra pissed. Yet when I talked to the irs the man was like wait your 21 days which is almost up but I’ll be on Vacay out the country when that happens. I feel like if something wrong tell me now so I can fix it point blank period. No u haven’t received any letters or anything.

Unfortunately from what I’ve seen here, it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks after you verify for them to release it. A lot of people need to verify their identity but the IRS is also requiring more info from them such as proof of income or forms to be filled out. I don’t know your filing stats. When did you file? Have you already spoken to the IRS? Have you received any letters?

If you haven’t gotten a DDD in about 5-7 days you may have to ID verify. The IRS however will not give you any info prior to your 21 days.

I woke up with WMR update with a DDD 3/09 also. I filed on 1/27. Its been an ordeal this year. I will stop holding my breath when it actually hits my account. Past years it would hit my account two days earlier than stated but this year?? Who knows. Fingers crossed.

Also, I will be checking SBTG like a lunatic starting Monday. I’m hoping nothing delays this process like the filing nightmare most of us just went through. I’ve heard that once they receive the funds, they get deposited into your account the same day. I’ll be testing that theory this year for sure!

You can call the ID verification line and talk to them. You can also go to idverify.IRS.gov. if it lets you do it then you know it’s required. A lot of people received letters or their tax topic changed.

Filed 01/19….Accepted…01/19….Was flagged with the Cp05 notice I immediately called and got assigned a TA agent who had me fax over a letter from job on 02/26 with my income so irs can verify….this morning I checked really not expecting to see any change but was very happy to see approve with a DDD of 03/09…Finally I can stop eating Ramen noddle’s and go get a nice steak lol….Good Luck to everyone else I will never ever ever file early again.

Hey I filed on 2/2 accepted 20 min later on 2/2. Wmr always says “we have received your refund and it is being processed.” With no bars… Verified identity on 2/22. They told me it could take up to 6 weeks to get my refund. Checked wmr this am and got a DDD for march 9th. I’m ecstatic!!!! #teammarch9th ????
