      Did anyone successfully get a DD in someone elses account? I am the secondary/ spouse on our joint taxes and sent our refund due on the 18th to MY Walmart card and I am scared it will be rejected! Please post if you got yours anyway to ease my mind! or if you didn’t to freak me out more! LOL

          I filed mine on 2/5. Had DD to husbands global cash card account. I am an authorized user but not an account holder as they do not allow additional owners. DD was sent on 2/10 and instantly rejected because of it. I am now waiting for the irs to update that they have got the funds back and to issue a paper check. Now the hubby has his going in tomorrow so we shall see what happens, should be good because it is in his name.
          Good luck on yours and just fyi we have used the same account to get both of ours for the last 6 years with no issues. So what I am saying is it is hit or miss and honestly depends on your financial institute.

              Thank you guys for info, Katie did your mom use a Walmart card? I had ours deposited last year thru taxact in my moms account, went thru fine but I’m seeing horror stories…

                You can have up to 3 tax refunds deposited to one account but certain prepaid cards require that every deposit be in the name of the card holder I had that issue with netspend this year and my nieces refund they just made me add a second card in her name to my account which was easy enough and they said I can close the card once she gets her funds
