DD HoH Unemployment refund

I’ve always been amazed how good people on this site are at determining dates and things like that. So I thought I would ask if anybody had any idea when they will start sending non simple refunds for the unemployment. Me for example I filed head of household and have one dependent but to me my returns should be count it as simple because well if I can do it it’s got to be simple. But apparently the IRS season different so I was just curious if anybody had any idea when they may start sending the money

Being able to check it on TurboTax is because their company updates it. H and R Block I’ve read some people have updated it there’s not really a trick or anywhere to look from what I’ve been told you just check your refund amount and it should be more than it originally was. Unfortunately I use Jackson Hewitt and from everybody I’ve had to deal with they seem to be the biggest collection of morons in history. Which I guess makes me an even bigger idiot for using them

I see people able to use turbo tax to see their updated amounts. Anyone know of a way to do this with HRB?

@Eileen yeah I guess I assumed mine wasn’t complicated because when I file mine is classified as simple. I assumed having stocks, property and stuff like that would qualify as “complicated” it seems like the most complicated thing is for the IRS to keep people updated

Same HOH 4 dependents. According to my TURBO TAX I should only be getting another 1,700 but prior to adding my unemployment it should have been much more. Curious when it will come around. We have had much better dates and info for all the refunds accept this one.

Same here! HOH 1 dependent… Just got off phone with TurboTax-lady confirmed if you sign in to your account & find where it says add a state-click it-then go to 3 lines in upper right it should show you the difference of what you’re expected to get with the new 10,200 credit for unemployment.

Hoh 2 dependents I think ours is more complicated because of EIC and other deductions we qualify for being knocked down a tax bracket We may qualify for more deductions and that may take longer
