Cycle code 20220404, help please!

Prior to this year I’ve been a 05, now it’s 04. Is this daily so can my transcripts update any day and not just once a week? As of date is 2/14, path. Yes I know about the path thing. What are the chances of my transcripts updating after Monday with a DDD?

@Duck have you tried to figure out the Zodiac letters? I’m sure figuring out what this stuff means is easy for some but not me haha y’all amaze me how year after year I’ve always had a good idea when my refund will arrive

2022 is the year
Next 2 numbers are what week of the year
Last 2 numbers are 01-04 dailies 05 is a weekly but could be a daily

Stop getting all freaked out over nothing it’s a cycle code on when you post to the master file😉

I have that same code. From the chart @duck referred to, it seems as if that code is just the cycle your returns were accepted.

Look toward the end of the document it has charts that will help determine when updates occur in relation to information and codes on your to ranscript.

My cycle code is 20220402 with date of 2/14/2022 from what I have gathered is my return was processed and approved the week of January 26 hence the 04 after the date and because I am a pather it will post on Monday (where the 02 comes in) the week of 2/14/22 giving me a dd of 2/17/22 if you have 04 with that date the yours will update on transcript Thursday I think. I will find the chart from the IRS website I used to determine mine.

sometimes i think they still process our taxes but do not update the transcript more than once a week for 05. 04 daily i would assume they can update the transcript every day that they run updates. hopefully you get your refund then! my cycle code is the one after yours 20220405 !
