Cycle code 20201205

Anyone know what the cycle code means, looks like mid April but just wanted to make sure

I have cycle dates 20201205, filed 3/4 E file with IS. State taxes were revoked and then had to contact them to attach to the IS to my account. Nothing has updated, for weeks. Says taxes filled 4/06/2020 almost a month later. Is that normal. Last year I didn’t get refund until November after mailing in everything twice. 766, 768 and 806 all say 4/15.

*****UPDATE TA called me turns out i forgot to file my taxes in 2014 and that is the only hold up or they would have released my funds- so i just need to file it and send it to my TA and its good to go! ********

I have the exact same cycle. I ID VERIFIED 2/28
Then received 60 review letter 3/13. I have no codes on my transcript other than 766 768 570. Still waiting

I was told today that they didn’t get mine or my spouse W2s…HOW? He works at a factory and I work at an office….how did both of our W2 get left out??? Why would an Employer single people out with W2 reporting ?

I’m having a super similar issue to yours @Beth same cycle date and i have 570 and 971 that were post dated for today’s date and nothing in the mail and no updates at all… Luckily my only hold up was that i needed to ID verify but i did that in the first week of march. Crazy how long its been, almost feels like ill never see my refund

@Beth Sounds like they haven’t started processing your return and it’s in the errors department which is closed due to the corona

I’m 20201305 and have had codes 150, 806 on transcripts since last week. WMR says processing.

My transcript 570 code says $0.00
It doesn’t even have a code that I was issued a letter on 3/11/20 about a review and nothing ha changed. TA was like “the letter says to do nothing, so you don’t need to do anything!” I don’t get it….I didn’t qualify for EIC. so why are they holding my money???

Still No update! This is MFN ridiculous. There is not a reason in the world why someone hadn’t told me WTF is going on with my return. This is nonsense! Cycle code hasn’t changed and it’s still saying processing!

Receipt dates are always postdated. It’s possible — even likely — to get the refund before the transcript says the return is received, because that’s just the way they do it, for whatever reason.

I have the cycle code 20201205….Nothing updated. Received a letter 3/11/20 saying I was under a 60 day review and to do nothing. SSA only showing my part time job income. I sent them my w2 with a wage correction form and ask them to add my full time job wages. Will they send this to the IRS. Transcript shows everything with 04-15-20 and 04-06-20 (whichever is later). Someone help…what does all this mean?

Cycle code 20201205 means that the IRS begins processing your return by 3/19/2020 (this past Thursday). If everything is okay, then a DDD of 3/25 is likely. If not, you may get a letter from the IRS.

I have the same cycle code as you and I have a ddd of 03/25, but I had a TA so that could be why I got date for Wednesday. Good Luck and hopefully you will update next week!!

I updated to 20201105 with a deposit date of 3/25. I think yours will be 1 week away.
