      So my ex didn’t opt out for our teenage son, but I’m claiming him on my 2022 taxes. I’m going to try to add him when the irs portal allows it, but does anyone know how that will work? Or will I have to wait until tax time next year to get the full refund? I’m trying to find out if they will send the monthly payments to me if I add him or if it’s too late since my ex claimed him last year and didn’t opt out. Anyone else in this situation?
