Credit Karma – Anyone use it yet?

I’m having issues with Credit Karma’s new tax filing. They say I need to update my dependent ssn as it doesn’t match the name. I can’t access any of my information for myself, wife or dependents to update it. It will only let me go in and update income, deductions, credits and then filing.

Going on day 2 with no response from them on how to fix this.

I just wanted to see if anyone else has used them and knows how to update your information to refile. I don’t want to change to another tax service as I fear it will kick in identity protection from the IRS.

I am having the exact same problem – rejected for incorrect dependent’s SSN. I am only using Credit Karma because this is the first year I cannot use the easy form, and it’s the only program that will let you free file without the easy form.

If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know!

nerver had any issues with Turbo Tax….Try them next time. Sorry your having issues

This is what I got after 2 days of waiting from Credit Karma.. what a waste of time… AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!!!!

Hi XXXX,

If your return is rejected, we’ll send you an email that includes the IRS or state revenue department’s reason for rejecting it. You’ll be able to log back into Credit Karma Tax to edit your return and submit again.

I’m regretting using this program. I got an error that the name and ssn for one of my dependents did not match and was returned by the IRS. There is no way for me to go in and update this on your program. It won’t let me access anything for my dependents, myself or wife. How do I get to that to update my information so I can refile?
