I am so confused. I have posted a few times and here I am updating what I have been told. For one, I was told LAST Thursday that I needed to wait 45 days past March 2nd. I called again today because I STILL have not received a letter about WHY they are holding my money. This representative acted as though she knew absolutely NOTHING. Sounded to me like she was reading straight from a scrip. At first she wasnt even going to ask me for my information and just stated that “all refunds would be released on 2/27” Then once I requested she access my information she proceeded to try and read to me the PATH Act. First and foremost this is not the first year this has been out. Secondly, I am more than capable of reading it myself. She proceeded to tell me that I would need to wait 21 days PAST the time I received the letter. HELLO, I didnt receive it. So, she puts me on hold and them comes back and says I apologize, its 45 days past the time you receive the letter, and told me that letter is dated for 2/20, so 45 days past 2/20. THEN placed me on hold AGAIN, and came back and stated that it would be 60 days past 2/20. WHAT?! Which is it? 21 days, 45 days or 60? Who else has dealt with this in the past? How long did it take to receive your money? I did not count my chickens before they hatched, HOWEVER, I do have things that need to be paid off as of March.

I just got off the phone with the IRS and they told me they sent a letter out on the 20th as well and I have not gotten it. They also told me there’s nothing I can do but wait 60 days from the 20th, but it shouldn’t be that long… Idk what’s going on.
