Good luck @sarah21! You got this.
Study and trust your gut@Cevyn. That’s the date you “should” finish processing. You can always be resequenced.

When it comes to the as of dates, what does that mean? My transcripts came today, but they were blank. But I do have an as of date of 2/17.

For what it’s worth and believe me or not my sister works in the IRS. And not the call center and actual department.
She said (like most of us) the lifts are happening tomorrow and you’ll see updates starting on Saturday (Friday transcripts). The computers are working 24/7 and no problems on servers as of now.
Expect to see most DDD by end of week 2/21.
Hope that helps.I’m salty with her because I was and EA for years and helped her get this job lol. Oh well, love her and she’s only saying what she knows.
She did say that she loathes the call center. They are more harm than good and try to get you off the phone asap.Hope that helps some.

So my cycle code is 20200405 as of date 02/10/2020
Transcripts look good just waiting on 846 code.
I am curious how this years updating is going to work since path isn’t supposed to lift until 2/15 at 11:59 pm
If In fact 05 is a weekly would our transcripts update tonight even before path is lifted?
I don’t see being in the test batch and having to wait for next Thursday to update with 846
So ready for tax season to be over with already -

@julieisking what is your cycle code? You might be in the first set of deposits also, I haven’t seen any really late as of dates. I think the filing dates and accepted dates are going to make a difference. A lot of people are saying that they didn’t update to PATH until 2/8.
Of course, I could be wrong about all of this. It’s just supposition at this point. -

What about as of February 24th? Do you have any predictions?

@sarah21 Filed 1/20, Accepted 1/27 Cycle Code 20200505 As of Date 2/17, PATH since 2/1.
Fingers crossed that we are amongst the first deposits. I believe that makes us both weeklies, so, hopefully, deposits next Wednesday. We have always gotten our deposits on a Wednesday. I am a little concerned that we are going through SBTPG this year, I have heard nothing but horror stories about them, but alas, such is my fate this year. I will not be doing that again. -

@redacted Maybe the IRS will take pity on you this year, I sure hope so, they sure put you through the wringer last year. Lets just hope they are in a better mood this year. I’m sure the owners of the page appreciate your efforts to be good this year.

@sarah21 Only theories mind you, this year the IRS is fully staffed, no government shutdown to deal with. For PATHers, I suspect that the first deposits will hit Tuesday or Wednesday. I have looked at my transcripts for the last few years and have been paying attention to what others are seeing on theirs. Historically, with the PATH Act, we have received our refund on the 21-23rd of February, last year was the latest at 2/27. I am seeing a lot of people with as of dates of 2/10 and 2/12 on there transcripts. Our as of date is 2/17, I looked up to see if the IRS still only deposits on Wednesday and found this:
Does IRS send refunds on Saturdays?
Does the IRS deposit refunds on weekends. Simple answer yes they do unless its a goverment shutdown.Jun 4, 2019
ttlc.intuit.com › community › after-you-file › discussion › does-the-irs-d…
Does the IRS deposit refunds on weekends – TurboTax Support – IntuitSearch for: Does IRS send refunds on Saturdays?
So, my theory is that people with the earliest as of dates, may get a DDD of 2/15, most likely 2/18, and so on for the as of dates as they go on. With Monday being a Holiday, it really is on the banks to process, the IRS can release at any time from 2/15 on, it really is all automated and just takes someone to enter in a program code telling the system to release refunds on a specific day. -

What’s your theories about my return this year??? You think I’ll be back in IRS hell waiting til fall for my refund (the new usual for me) or will I for once update and be on my way like the rest of you? Just curious lol
I hope you’re doing well! Yes, I saw your question earlier, I’ve toned it down a bit this year, and I quit drinking. Also promised the wonderful owners of the forum I’d be good as long as possible lol.
